OMGYRO of Union — Restaurant in Union

i never ever write reviews, but for this place i have to. i've tried so many different halal carts and other take out spots all around long island, nyc, brooklyn, queens, and they got nothing on this place. i came into town today to visit some of my friends from the area and had to grab something to eat before heading home, my buddy and i decided to stop here. i ordered a chicken over rice with fries and salad and some sauces on top. the food was phenomenal, definitely the best chicken over rice i've ever had in my entire life. everything in my platter tasted fresh and these guys actually care about what they serve to customers. there were no inconsistencies with anything i ordered. usually from places in new york a few pieces of chicken have bones still in them or some pieces are cold or the salad tastes a little funky and by the time you're done your stomach hurts. this place i had NONE of those issues. the guys who run this place are awesome and down to earth, i didn't catch any names but the guy working the register couldn't even believe me when i said this was the best platter i ever had, they were very social, welcoming and made it feel like they wanted us to relax and enjoy our food instead of trying to rush us out. i wish these guys would open up some places on long island, they would put shah's, naz, hamza and madina, and halal guys out of business so fast. if i could give them 10...

Awesome customer service ! Excellent food! Clean inviting atmosphere, perfectly seasoned food with sauces that thrill and delight the senses!!! Top notch service and preparation ! Fresh ingredients and the best falafel 🧆 you'll find! It's delectable even without sauce a journey of gratifying taste! The staff and managers are incredibly helpful engaging and friendly ! There is convenient parking in the left and right parking lots for added convenience! There is a sinfully inviting dessert counter where decisions become difficult which is a great thing!!!! I was recommended the Dubai chocolate that I had recently seen reviews of online! It's even greater than described!!!!!! An amazingly wonderful experience!!!!! Two locations Union and South Orange! I wish them many more locations to come 🙏 seating is available for in house dining ! Give this group of amazing entrepreneurs your business !!! You won't regret it! They do not disappoint ! Everything is carefully crafted and lovingly prepared for the customers! Thanks Mohammad and staff for a superb and fun experience ! Ps. Omgyro is the truth!!!!! The food is....well, it'll make you "Slap ya Mama"....The atmosphere is relaxed and very clean. Owners down to earth and extremely friendly...Gave me and the misses a sample of all the protein and sauces for us to make a decision (This kind of service won me over, you don't find this a lot). I ordered Build your Platter with seasoned fries ass base with Jerk chicken and House chicken with mozzarella cheese and white sauce (Heavy on the white sauce). I can appreciate there focus on serving a limited amount of menu items. Those kind of restaurants are all over the place, there's like 50 items on menu and none of is prepared in a way that's noticeable when you taste it (Bad flavor), not the case with Omgyro. They have a laser focus on their specific menu items and YOU CAN TASTE IT!!!!! My go to stop from now on....Go...
