This is a long review, Customer service, listening & how you treat people are very important. & I must say how my husband & I were treated at this place was beyond horrible. I do not like bringing race into these things but honestly I cannot find another reason for the maltreatment we received here. There were two incidents. The first incident was my birthday, Wednesday 12/6/23 around 12pm. My husband & I stopped here & was attended to by, Stephen. Stephen was notably busy and after 10min, I mouthed to him if I should come to the counter to order. He replied “no, we’re busy, I’ll be right there”. He brought my husband & I menus, we decided on what we wanted pretty quickly. My husband asked that his Burger & loaded fries be brought to the table together. A simple request we thought. About 15min later Stephen comes back to the table with only the loaded fries, as he’s walking away, my husband looks at me & says “babe didn’t I say that I wanted everything together?”. I guess Stephen overheard & storms back to the table saying “let’s go over this again”, this a appetizer, so that’s why it came first”. My husband said “I understand but I asked that it be brought with my burger” Stephen responds “So you want me to serve it to you cold?”. My husband says “no I just want it with my meal, whatever you needed to do to bring it to me with my meal then thats up to you”. Stephen then blames it on it being busy & my husband says that has nothing to do with him. “Stephen’s responds so you don’t care that we’re busy? My husband says “no I don’t that has nothing to do with my request” Stephen picks the basket of loaded fries up & walks away. We decided we weren’t going to eat there that day… Next incident happened on Friday 12/8 around 3pm. I was assisted by Jen. First I have to mention that the day before (12/7). I called for a pick-up order, I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes when I arrived 30 minutes later it was still not ready. I made no big stink, was very patient, stood there jammed to the music playing, chatted a bit with Moy the gentlemen that works at the resort. After another 15 to 20 minutes, I checked & bagged my order, Jen swiped my card & I left. On 12/8, I walked in Jen was there behind the counter, with a smile I started to greet her & before I could finish, she says “Do you have a problem with the service here?” Honestly I was completely taken aback because besides the incident with Stephen we had eaten there before & we had no issues. So I was like “huh?” She says “yes, are you not happy with the service here, because you stiffed me on my tip yesterday”. So I replied “stiffed you on your tip?, I picked up my food yesterday & where I’m from we don’t tip for pick-ups”. She then replied “well we do here, I provided you with a service & you did not tip me. I honestly don’t know why you keep coming here, because every time you do, you have a problem”. Again completely confused “I replied, what do you mean everytime, beside the issue you’re making now, the only other time an issue was had was Wednesday”. She replies “I don’t care, I’m not gonna serve you today so if you want to order you can go to Karen”. Completely distraught & overwhelmed with emotion I went to tell my husband what happened (he was waiting to speak with Nick about the prior incident). I’m giving 2 stars because of Nick. I want to thank him because he sat intently & listened to us, he was very empathetic & kind. He gave us two meals for free. I am very appreciative of that. But honestly I do not know what action was taken to try & correct this sort of behavior, this should not be allowed or tolerated. & others need to be aware. Its clear that people pick and choose how they deal with others, but when in customer service everyone should we treated the equally. You can get your point across without aggression. Read moreNote: This is a review for drinks only. My group of three decided to go here for happy hour since it was within walking distance and on the beach. The first strike was a place called Sangrias was out of one type of Sangria by 430pm. Strike two was the drinks ordered were bland and didn’t seem like they had much (if any) alcohol. Strike three was the happy hour advertising. They listed that cocktails with Bacardi were $6. One drink ordered was from the section of the menu labeled Frozen Cocktails and had Bacardi as the only alcohol. Therefore you would expect it to be $6. Nope. Full price of $12 (compounded by strike 2 above of it being very unflavorful). When I pointed this out, the waiter said frozen cocktails were not intended to be part of happy hour. When it says cocktails are $6 and it’s under the frozen COCKTAIL section, they know what they are doing. Either say it’s excluded or have some other note. Three strikes and they were out. Read moreI went here on my first night at the world mark resort. I arrived during their happy hour so drinks were cheaper as well as the food. My friend and I both had pizza and a drink. When we received are bill the waitress had not given us the happy hour prices so we asked her to please make are bill correct and if she could please spilt our bill since we were paying separate. When she came back she had split the bill incorrectly and still had the incorrect prices. We asked her to fix it again but said it was correct and refused to fix it. She was very rude and lazy. I believe her name was Carrie. Since our bill was spilt unevenly the one w the lesser bill was to tip the waitress. So when the first person ran their card we did not tip and she began getting upset with us telling us how rude we were and raising her voice at us and how she provided great service which she did not we tried explaining to her that we just hadn’t gotten to tipping her yet but she stormed off.
