Baker's Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Upland

This is for those who want a job here, I only worked here for three months. If you believe this job will help you pay bills it will! Unless of course the manager wants to schedule you 1-2 days only according to a friend of mine who also happened to work here before I did. Hate feeling watched and pressured? Not the job for you considering Christina loves to hover over you while you are doing your job, correctly or not. She has no awareness for other people’s feelings and will try to talk you down. Christina disrespected me by asking “were you even born in this country” . As someone who had self respect I quit because no one was going to talk me down for a fast food job. Not to mention some of the shift leaders are also extremely unfriendly, and unprofessional. They talk bad about customers and laugh about them behind the scenes. They of course talk bad amongst themselves. Not to mention this woman expects you to close a whole restaurant in 30 minutes, anything after that and you’re in trouble. The only thing I enjoyed about the job was how much there was to do which makes time go by fast at times, but remember that no job is worse your sanity. I was racially disrespected and asked “where you even born in this country” if you believe I’m joking I’m unfortunately not. That’s the biggest reason I quit my job. Will I ever recommend working here? Definitely not, everyone I met in that job had something to say about her. But if you need the money I can’t blame you I wish you nothing...

When I was here the other day staff were training, so they messed up my order sightly. It was fixed, but the supervisor had to refund part of my order. (Ordered a meal combo but failed to ask what drink I wanted, told them I wanted a Mr. Pibb, after I pay they finally ask what I wanted for my large soda, have to ask them why I'm getting 3 sodas... cause they thought I wanted another soda, not that I was telling them what flavor I wanted for my combo.) So, gets fixed, thank you. Get home, my cheeseburger has no cheese. I can spare the $.49, but it is annoying. Let me say this is totally not how it normally goes. Figure with COVID stuff is a bit different. Staff were otherwise as would be expected, fine, getting people's orders out. Food is standard Bakers. Will go again in the future, but will now be checking my food before I drive home. I did inform woman in charge of the issue, she did offer to fix the situation, but told her I was fine, just wanted her to know the order wasn't right so hopefully it wouldn't happen again. (Which is why my order # is folded over in the photo) Location is nice and clean, as are restrooms. Not sure if bathrooms are open just now. Parking, counter, entrance and seating are...

Let me start this off by saying I worked here for a very long time so I know how everything works at bakers. Okay now for my review. Bakers freaking sucks now. We got chili cheese fries with sour cream but they didn’t give me sour cream on my chili cheese fries. The steak chili cheese fries was a very big disappointment. I probably got 10 pieces of steak at most, but even then there were so lil fries now:(. Drive thru was very short but I was there for 10 mins for steak chili cheese fries, regular chili cheese fries with sour cream, a large butter finger shake (which has way to much milk that make it super runny), four tacos, and a large root beer. Bakers has been going super downhill, their food isnt the same and workers are slow. The cashier didn’t even know what tap was, he was trying to have me pay with their scanner until i told him thats not what you use for tap and its the other black box😂. It seems like they literally just hire anyone and their mamas there. Its so sad to see my first job go...
