This is our favorite Indian restaurant and we’ve been eating this the of food for 30 years. I highly recommend it for their southern style dishes, vegan dishes, and even their northern dishes are fantastic. This is our third time eating here since the change of ownership and name and we’ll definitely keep coming.
We always over order so we have tons of leftovers…and all dishes we order are vegan. We love their samosas and gol gappe (crispy globe crackers served with potato, chickpea, & onion filling). The seasoned, herb water served with gol gappe is to die for and the mint chutney they serve with these appetizers is fantastic. We then ordered masala dosa, a large lentil/rice flour crepe stuffed with deliciously seasoned mashed potatoes & onions, and served with tomato and coconut/mint chutneys. This dish comes with a spicy lentil and vegetable soup called sambar. SO good!
We followed these items with three of our go-to vegetable dishes, bhindi masala (okra cooked with spices and our absolute FAVORITE dish of the night), baingan bharta (roasted eggplant with tomatoes, a bit smokey, and amazing), and aloo gobhi (cauliflower and potatoes with spices, and so delish). We like spicy food so ordered all our dishes medium heat. We could really feel the heat for the chili, but it wasn’t overpowering. To accompany these dishes we ordered thepla (whole wheat flat bread sleuth fenugreek leaves and sesame seeds). It was amazing and South Indian style bread we’ve come to enjoy a lot, though their garlic naan looked unbelievable. We’ll get that next time.
The service was steady and the servers were friendly, even thought the place was packed. When we left at 8 there were only 2 open tables, one was the one we vacated. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is casual. We saw couples, families, a variety of cultures, and a range of ages represented in the customers. Read moreThis is my second time here. The first time my parents and I came for the buffet. Upon entering, we were all excited by the smell of the food. There were many wonderful buffet options to choose from! My Punjabi parents are very picky about how the food is supposed to be like, but once they tried the food here, they were fans of it from the first few bites. That was impressive in my eyes.
Second time I came by myself, I tried things I hadn’t had during the first visit. I started off with Sambar (soup) which came out piping hot and was very flavorful! I then had an order of Samosas with the Red & Green chutney which had more flavor than the traditional ones I’m used to having. I could have easily had a second order of Samosas!
Then I had the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and plain buttered Naan! Folks, if you want a place where they give you fair amount of meat in your dish, you come to this place! YES, you can choose the spice level folks! It was the perfect consistency and had all the amazing spices you could think of! The Naan here is off the hook!!! I’m picky about my Naan and boy do they deliver perfect Naan! They have multiple types of Naan also, which blew my mind!!
Last but not least, I ended my meal with the taste bud soothing Falooda Ice Cream! Listen folks, when I took my first spoon full of this delicious treat, my mind instantly went back to the joys I had when I had Falooda Ice Cream when I was in Punjab as a little kid on a hot summer day! Just something about enjoying it with a spoon and straw served in a tall glass made it hit even more different, yet brought back cherished memories of Punjab.
Thank you very much to this Family for serving delicious Indian food & I feel so proud to be able to recommend this restaurant to the many others out there! If you’re reading this, you need to tap on the navigate button and go enjoy the food!

Read moreI was skeptical when we pulled in front of the restaurant as Indian restaurants are always hit and miss, no matter the reviews. But this one was a winner, hands down!!! The place is humble but clean, food is authentic, home-cooked style and absolutely delicious. It brought back childhood memories of eating piping hot fresh food served at "Dhabas" (Truckstops) in Northern India. They offer rare dishes like Sarson da saag and Makki di roti and Pakorewali kadhi cooked to perfection and served with fresh-churned white butter. Once I saw these on the menu, I knew I had come to the right place because rarely do Indian restaurants list these on the menu. More than anything, this restaurant is a treasure trove of finger-licking delectable vegetarian (& vegan) dishes. They are so flavorful, meat-lovers won't even miss the meat! The Punjabi chole was cooked to melt in your mouth served with Bhatura. And, the Palak paneer was perfectly spiced. The spice level can be requested mild, medium or hot per your preference. Service is friendly and quick with members of the family serving dishes with warmth and a smile. Our order arrived in 15 minutes. Dishes are priced very reasonably, and portions are fairly generous with left-overs to enjoy again depending on how ravenous you are. We would make the 2 hour drive again just to patronize this restaurant....
