El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Upland

The drive thru line was too long so I got out to order. 2. There must have been a trainee who either didn't speak English or couldn't understand my order so someone stepped in and got my order down correctly. There was a family waiting for salsa Verde and their kids were playing near the OPEN SALSA. 4. The lady called my name but my order wasn't ready... so why did you call my name? 5. I told them the sauce was empty and instead of giving me prepacked salsa they had me scoop it myself when they gave me my order hands full. 6. I get home and my order is wrong. 7. I called the restaurant several times before I reached anyone. 8. The lady Anna said I could get a refund if I came all the way back. Or get the order replaced when I come in with a receipt any day. 9. I come in today the lady Hortencia had an attitude didn't ask me to wait just went to the back and made my salad not the rest of the order just the salad they messed up took my receipt would not give it back and no o didn't get a refund or the full order replaced. 10. Once she started talking Spanish to everyone I started speaking Spanish too because it seemed like she profiled me already. I love epl food but i will NOT patronize this establishment again

My coworker and I stopped here after work a bit before closing time. There was a very aggressive man in the lobby yelling at the staff about taxes and acting very irrational, holding up the line inside and in the drive thru. Even being yelled at and disrespected, the staff tried very hard to resolve this man’s “problem” so they could de-escalate the situation.

The team was very apologetic to my friend and I who patiently waited for the crazed man to leave, which they definitely did not need to apologize for. The manager, who is a VERY kind man, ended up giving my friend and I free drinks. This team definitely cares about their customer service even when they’re trying to help out an overreactive customer and all the people who have to wait for the crazies to leave.

Aside from that, the burrito I ordered was so bomb. I’ve ordered from here twice now since they recently opened up and they definitely have the best cooking out of all the Pollo Locos in the area.

Terrible service. Ordered drive through asked for a double chicken salad and I asked if instead of the chips I could get a churro instead all I got was a “no” then “ would that be everything” I said yes and at the window I asked for a order of churros.the guy asked if I need something extra and I said yes green salsa please. Paid for my order and the same girl who took my order brought it up to me and said here it go. I checked my order and turned around and asked for green salsa and she walked away so I thought I was getting it then she came back and she said “ you need something else” I said yes a “ fork “. I drive away. My order didn’t had napkins and fork nor the green salsa plus my churros only one of them had the sugar and...
