Though I have eaten at many different locations of Bruegger's Bagels over the years, I ate for my first time today [11-6-2021] at the Bruegger's Bagels at 1621 W. Lane Ave. in Upper Arlington.
Usually, whenever I eat at a bagel restaurant, I will order a bagel with cream cheese but in this case I had decided in advance that I would order a more complete sandwich.
I had studied the menu -- on-line -- well in advance of my visit -- and had decided to order and eat a Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, which is described as follows: "Farm-inspired and stacked with layers of flavor, the new Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, made with two fresh-cracked eggs, slices of savory peppered bacon, ham, Cheddar cheese, and country pepper cream cheese on a toasted Cheesy Hash Brown Bagel, provides a hearty start to the day."
I learned while standing near the ordering counter that there had been a choice [that had not been on the "on-line" menu but had been on the "in-person" "posted-to-the-wall" menu] between ordering one egg with that sandwich and ordering two eggs with that sandwich. I decided to order one egg with that sandwich which had been sufficient.
The Bruegger's Bagels at 1621 W. Lane Ave. had been crowded but efficient; I had my food item within five minutes of when I had entered the restaurant.
A recent "Google Maps Local Guide" reviewer of that location of Bruegger's Bagels [three or so weeks ago] had mentioned that one employee [who he had described as a "manager"] had not been wearing a mask while working there so I decided to look for masks [or lack of masks] during my visit. One employee [who may have been that same "manager"] had been behind the counter while not wearing a mask and then had been in the back while not wearing a mask.
I greatly appreciate the fact that this location of Bruegger's Bagels attempts to be "environmentally friendly." I received one single paper napkin with my sandwich rather than five or more paper napkins [which is a far more common practice at most...
Read moreI recently went to this establishment to grab a quick breakfast with some of my friends. Although the food and service was absolutely amazing, I noticed many issues regarding the accessibility of the building as it is small. When we first got to this little strip of shops, we had to park extremely far away from Bruegger's. When we crossed the parking lot, I noticed there were no crosswalks nor handicap accessible ways to get onto the sidewalk from what I was able to see. As we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with a long line of people which meant a lot of noise. Because this building is so small, the noise echoed around quite a bit. If you or anyone you are with have a sensory issue, this location of Bruegger's would be extremely difficult to be in for this reason. There was very limited seating inside so if you needed a break while standing in this long line, this most likely would not be possible. Also if you are in a wheel chair, this establishment would be extremely difficult to maneuver around due to the width of the area that was available to wait in. Overall, I am a huge Bruegger's Bagels fan and recommend it to everyone because of their service and food. I do believe that if this establishment made some changes, it would become much...
Read moreI have enjoyed this Bruegger’s Bagels for many years now; however my most recent 3 visits have been extremely disappointing, in that there were no Everything Bagels available, nor were the staff able to let me know when any would be ready. This location is not supported by the Bruegger’s app, so you can’t place orders, which is convenient like the campus location. Today was very frustrating as I even attempted to call ahead to check if there were any Everything, and I got no answer to any of my multiple calls, so I went to the store to find they were out yet again. I understand this is pretty specific and picky, but I think I have to start only going to the campus location at this point until this location joins the app so I can order and know I will be able to get...
