Starbucks — Restaurant in Upper Darby

My drink and food are consistently pretty good, service is always very good and very friendly, but there is insanely limited indoor/outdoor seating. Because of the nearby high school, this location locks its doors and brings in what limited outdoor seating it has between 2:30-4:00pm Monday-Friday, leaving you nowhere to sit. You have to mobile order during this time. If you need to throw something out, get a straw, correct a drink order etc. you are forced to bother the poor employees who are doing laps around the store, opening and closing a tiny mobile order window! Absolutely ridiculous. Customers awkwardly shuffle around outside the locked doors, asking each other what the hell is going on.

Not just that, this location absolutely obliterated a section of the store that had seating and replaced it with a break room/storage. I spent a lot of time during my high school years sitting here with friends, eating lunch, doing work. It seems the store could not keep up with the disruption caused by high schoolers, so the solution is to just completely neuter your socialization? By 3:00pm, most, if not all of the high schoolers have already gone home. Surely upper management has other solutions here.

Starbucks is supposed to pride themselves on their atmosphere. What in the hell...

The best starbucks in town! I been going to this Starbucks for years and I love this location. This location has highly professional, very well trained, warm welcoming and friendly baristas, the management is top notch and overall a very friendly and always a clean environment to sit and enjoy my coffee while I work. Here, I am always greeted with friendly gestures, my drinks are always made on point. While at some point, when the drinks I ordered weren't properly made, I took it back and they kindly apologized, handled with special care and remake the drinks and also gave me rewards for the next drink. There is always room for improvement at every business, but this location, never disappointed me and I have always been satisfied with their customer service skills and professionalism and overall just the location for my favorite drinks. First time going to this Starbucks, i stood in line and was not acknowledged literally had staff ignore me, until about five minutes the young woman turned around and said, "I'll be right with you." I'm not one to complain and also try to be patience and understanding of people's jobs... because you never know what they're going through...however the staff was rude. I gave the young woman my Starbucks card which I earned from buying five drinks, mind you the card is worth about 25$ dollars of past drink orders. She looked at my card and stated it was expired this is for holiday drinks. I said I read the back of the card in fine print that today was actually the last day in which I was able to receive a free grande drink and she gave so much attitude. Then she handed the card to another staff member who was hesitant as well... Seriously over a drink and you can't even read the fine print? No accommodation, rudeness, even when the other staff member said okay I'll make it that was it. I would never go back to this Starbucks and this is my first review ever. Staff need to be more professional and know how to communicate better...
