52 years eating cheesesteaks and steak hoagies in pretty much every popular cheesesteak shop in and around Philly and I dare to say and have allegiance to the popular one in the northwest section of the city which I’ll leave nameless out of respect, but I just moved to Ambler and I might have just had over the course of 2 days the best steak hoagie and plain steak sauce and onions I’ve ever had. Meat seasoned and grilled perfectly with just the right amount of moisture to sup into the roll. Sauce sweet but not overly sweet and perfectly portion. The roll is the maestro here as it holds the very meaty contents well and absolutely delicious dough with a soft golden hardish shell. If I could give this place a 6th star, I would. It’s a 10 out of 10 plain steak w/sauce and onions. The steak hoagie from yesterday I would just add that the veggies were super fresh and just the right portion. I get it with a little mayo and they coated the roll exactly as wanted. Nice friendly environment. Bigger space inside than you think from the outside. I’m pretty particular, but Ambler Pizza has their hooks in me. As Arnold would say, ā€œI’ll be backā€, but I’m going to add ā€œoftenā€.

There was plenty of parking, the cashier was friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the process was smooth. We had a plain Pizza. The pie was good looking, the temperature was great, the cheese/sauce ratio was excellent and tasted good, and the crust was fairly thin, which is to my liking, so I ate all my crust too. This was good pizza, and an overall Good experience, but my only criticism is that this was just not a $20 pizza, IMO. They did offer 10% off for cash paying customers but I prefer paying with my card.

The food here is excellent. My sister recommended this place to me and I had dinner there with a friend. We got the philly cheesesteak with american cheese and fried onions along with a medium plain pizza. We got the xtra large cheesesteak for $20.00 and split it. The cheesesreak was huge and cut into 4 sections, and I brought a section home. Both the cheesesteak and pizza were excellent. This is my new go-to place. Highly recommend!

WORST customer service EVER! Plus, the pizza was cold and tasteless. Mushrooms were obviously canned, the sauce watery and bland plus the quality of the other toppings were equally poor.

Their warped business model caused them to take so long to walk out of their own front door to my car that my food was COLD.

YES, they have to deliver the food to your car. I live 4 minutes away and arrived early! They were late.

When I arrived, I was lucky to barely squeeze into one of their designated numbered spots. There are DO NOT ENTER signs posted on their door, warning us to stay out. There was ample parking, however, they are unable to accommodate.

I had to call the number listed on their posted signs, wait on hold while one person tried to manage their non existent system of handling other carry out arrivals, collect credit card numbers AND take orders, verbally over the phone while we wait in our car. They placed me on hold, by putting the phone down, which allowed me to hear EVERYTHING, so I know why I waited. Poor procedures. Very lacking.

They waste time by asking which spot I'm in, made me read them my credit card number out loud, then wait in the car until they have the extra time to come outside to hand deliver our food.

This would have taken seconds had we been able to enter the restaurant like we can do EVERYWHERE ELSE.

Your "special" reasons for forcing all your carryout customers to wait in their cars while you try to manage your business encourages them all to leave their cars running and running and running and running and running and running and running. I was in Spot #7, so 7 cars.

YOU CHOSE THIS PROCEDURE. Your ridiculous procedures cause extra delays, require more time, limit customer options in the hopes that others park within the parking lot lines. People don't, but YOU FORCE us to park in your designated spots if we choose Carry Out.

Due to their lacking system, they made me wait until the food was cold. You can't fix incompetence.

I've never experienced this level of incompetence with handling customers.

YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS...

Hands down, best pizza outside the city, and I am from the northeast where we consider ourselves pizza professionals! The pasta dishes are phenomenal, (try the rosa sauce over lobster ravioli, my fave!) and portions are easily large enough for two!! Nice dining area w a separate party room that can hold up to 40 people is available for reservations or over flow from main dining room! Looking for something healthier? Try the Grilled Chicken Avocado Salad!! All your favorites in one healthy dish, absolutely DELICIOUS!!! HUGE selection of appetizers, sauces, and options, order can be made anyway you like it, and the menu is set up perfectly descriptive so you know exactly what come on your meal, in case you want to hold any ingredients! Food is fast, unless it is a Friday, when they can get slammed with orders, so a week night is best for dining in, tho they do their best to prioritize the dine-ins on Friday! Wonderful staff, owner Nick is a great guy, and can often be seen asking diners how everything was. Will be back again and again, best...
