High Steaks — Restaurant in Ambler

Tldr; if you are anywhere nearby and have not been you must go.

Awesome casual spot in Ambler. Been twice now and have had the wings and the French Quarter steak. I'm sold on this place if I'm ever in the mood for fried/drunk type food and bringing people here when we need a spot.

Wings were large, meaty, perfectly cooked, and drowned in sauce. Grilled (or smoked idk) then fried and they just slap. 9/10

Steak I went with the French quarter; the cheesesteak is such a staple in this part of the country that we've all had good and bad steaks but I can confidently say this is one of if not the best steaks I have had in my life. Seeded roll was incredible, meaty, saucy, cheesy, and just filled to the brim with deliciousness. Cant wait to try the others. 10/10

Vibe of the place is also great. 50's cafeteria decor with band/tripping type art all over the walls. Smaller location but very comfy and very friendly staff both time. Guy who I believe was owner was inside and just seemed very genuine interacting with everyone.

First of all, I wanted to share that I rarely or even hardly write reviews. Like anyone else, I like to see reviews before going to try out a new restaurant. I’ve came here twice so far and honestly would come here at least 3-4 times a week if I didn’t care too much about gaining weight haha. Their cheese steaks are TOP quality, honestly way better than any place I’ve been to in the city. Bread is soft and makes it easy to bite into. The meat is nicely seasoned and tender. if you’ve come here and have not tried their fries and wings, boy you’re in for a treat. The fries are the amazing and crispy curly fries that are perfectly seasoned. The wings are juicy and meaty with a side of THE BEST blue cheese I’ve ever had. Not only that, the price was the cherry on top. I expected 2 cheesesteaks, small fries, diet coke, and 8 wings to be more than 40, but it was only about 37 I think. Do I recommend? Wow! Foid is great as far as cheese steaks and sides but what sets this site off is the vibe! I ordered with diced green peppers mushrooms and provolone,. Such good service from entry to exit!
