This place that's got me saying, "Holy guacamole, this place is fun!" First, the Sugar Skulls. They're not your average boneheads, that's for sure! They're colorful, they're festive, and they're ceramicaly beautiful. Next up, the kids' menu! It's printed on a mask! Talk about a clever disguise! And let's not forget…the…giant glass alcohol tower! Okay, so it's not *exactly* Poison Ivy's botanical garden, but it's still pretty impressive. This thing goes up, like, 30 feet! It's a monument to…well, to something. I'm not sure what. Maybe it's a symbol of the intoxicating power of…mixed drinks? Or maybe it's just a really big, fancy way to display booze. Either way, it's eye-catching. And the green glow from the shelves holding the bottles…well, it gave me the chills. Reminded me of something…sinister. Something…Kryptonian. Kryptonite?!? Nah, luckily, my Bat-scanner confirmed it was just cleverly placed lighting. Still, I kept my distance. Wouldn't want to end up like Superman after a close encounter. Oh, and for those of you rolling with a larger crew (like, say, your own Bat-family of 15 or so), Torre has a nifty little private room. Perfect for plotting your next move…or just enjoying a peaceful meal away from the prying eyes of Commissioner Gordon (or, you know, other diners). And speaking of privacy, they've got individual, unisex restrooms. No more awkward waiting lines or having to explain to Two-Face why you're hogging the mirror. *To the Bat-room…alone!* The food was a tad pricey and perfectly spicy. So bring your bat wallet. Shout out to waiter Damien who used only his brain to remember everyone's order! A mastermind reminiscent of lex luthor! Torre, you've got a great atmosphere, some fun decorations, a private room for my Bat-posse, individual restrooms for my Bat-needs, and a whole lot of festive decor.

Delicious food and impeccable service in a fun atmosphere. We ordered way too much food - everything sounded so good - and I was delighted to see all of the to-go containers we received were paper/cardboard based. And the take-home bag is almost like a souvenir. I was there for an adult night out and the atmosphere did not disappoint. I saw quite a few families in the restaurant too and the kids were coloring cool sugar skull coloring pages. Not sure about the men’s room but the women’s room had a changing station. I absolutely love margaritas and theirs was one of the best I’ve had. There is a $100 margarita on their menu that is now on my bucket list - some day!! and I’ll be sure to come back to review it when it happens. The margarita I was drinking was $15. Before we went I checked reviews and noticed a few that had issues with cocktail prices. This was a high-quality margarita and I had absolutely no issues with the price. Their Mexican Lager is brewed up in Kutztown. I just tried a sip (margaritas!) but it was really flavorful and not too heavy for a lager. We were sitting upstairs - with a great view of the rest of the restaurant. There is a column in the middle of the bar that has tequila all the way up to the ceiling that is really cool. The front wall area opens for nice inside/outside dining options. If you’ve never tried Ceviche now is your chance! It was amazing. We also loved the guacamole choices. I couldn’t decide what kind of fajitas to get so I got the sampler of beef, chicken and shrimp. All 3 were delicious but the shrimp was extra-amazing! As a wonderful bonus - I chopped up the leftovers and cooked them into fajita omelets. Overall - home run! I would recommend as a fun night out for anyone who loves Mexican food.

So to give you an idea of the occasion, we made a reservation for a party of 12 for a wedding reception expecting to be served with the standard in hospitality. However, this was not the case, not only was the food overpriced, the service was subpar. We expected to receive quality service to go with the overpriced food. To give you an idea, the vegetarian fajitas were priced at 18 dollars. Now because this was a wedding reception, we had been ordering drinks the entire time, and trying to make light of the situation. The fact that our server wasn't being attentive to making sure the bride and groom were being cared for on their day. I have worked for 4 course restaurants, and I understand when a kitchen is busy, entrees can take time, but not for a salad, that shouldn't take more than the time for entrees to come out. Not only did they take a long time for a salad, they took forever to get a cup of ice cream for the brides daughter, we had to take it to go because of the lag and delay. The final cherry on top, while closing out our tabs, one our party members was charged twice, her bill was only supposed to be 50 dollars for one person and she was charged 84 dollars twice. By far one of the worst experiences, worse than Taco Bell on a bad day, ridiculous. Please heed my warning, go anywhere else, I recommend you go to Tacos & Tequila or Plaza Azteca in Allentown. Both are great prices, portions and amazing service and even the drinks are way better!!!

I’ve been to Torre a few times now and have finally decided to write the review. Let’s start with the host from the time you enter the door there is no downtime waiting for them to great you, it was immediate. Soon as we got to our table we were sitting on the second floor which was a great view down in the whole lobby and eating area on the first floor which was pleasant. Our waitress was at our table bringing glasses of water probably within 3 to 4 minutes. She was very friendly knowledgeable of the menu and any questions we asked. She brought out appetizers which we had The house salsa and chips and street corn with tortillas, they were both absolutely fabulous the street corn was amazing. Or dinner came out very hot and cooked exactly how we wanted it. The food here has always been above par and delicious. The atmosphere at this place is just classic, from the great artwork of the sugar skulls on the wall to the big tower behind the bar with the tequila bottles that go all the way to the ceiling . They have spare no expense with the design. The prices in this restaurant are definitely on point it is not expensive at all. My son and I visited tonight we had two appetizers we both had two meals a bottle San Peligroni and a soda and I believe the bill was around $52. If you’re in the Saucon Valley Promenade area definitely check this place out you will not be disappointed.
