Very disappointing all the way. Could have went to a full service good restaurant for less money with much better quality. Can’t speak for gyros or wraps , but judging on an entree, probably not good. Two overdone, dry , room temperature , unseasoned chicken breast, with dry salty rice, salad was good . Ice tea unsweetened was like water. One napkin, and no napkin dispenser anywhere, had to ask. Both entrees should be well seasoned, hot off the grill for what they charge! Steak unseasoned, barely warm, done correct though. Small amount of fries, pita bread, small taziki sauce. Sounds promising but avoid this. Six tables were dirty and need to be cleaned. Finding a clean table very hard . I tipped well just like a full service restaurant because some people were working hard but others standing around instead of cleaning tables . Or anything. Restroom had no paper towels, empty.
There is hardly anything Greek or Mediterranean about this place , flavorless. Probably will close soon make room for something better. people will not tolerate being charged high prices for low quality food. Should have done more preparation, organizing, training , experienced franchise owners before opening! Staff very confused, did not know if they had lemon, when it came with the meal. I asked it for ice tea. Wandering around with the food to figure where it goes ? system is so stupid give you a number like they did many many years ago put it at your table? I saw many many orders, walk around the restaurant and go back to the counter because they did not know where they go. Even tables that dishes were not on were dirty! They offer catering when they can’t even run the restaurant and the food properly? With the name like that on the restaurant, you better put out some good food ! Very deceiving. Get customers in once and done. I felt robbed! Chicken...
Read moreCool atmosphere, although I aint big on order here, but we'll bring it out to you with pre tip in the cost. I tend to tip service and food and even though I tipped in advance, I can't say the food was up to my liking.
I will say i tried the tzatziki dip, primarily because I wanted extra for my gyro and it was decent, also tried the melitzanosalata dip (Greek version of Babaghanoush) which was incredible both came with a substantial amount of pita.
I also ordered what I had hoped would be a traditional gyro (gyro means round as in meat cooked on a vertical spit and rotated and shaved thin) I should've questioned why they asked me how I wanted my lamb done. (In all of my years of ordering this sandwich no one has ever asked that).
My lamb was cooked "medium" but was overly salty, fatty and chewy. Plus it was in cubes. I aint a fan of lettuce on sandwiches the online menu offers traditional (tomato, red onion and tzatziki and the great greek version with added lettuce and feta.) Even though i stated traditional it came to the table incorrectly.
Not bad, not great either. Really in no...
Read moreThe Great Greek? There’s nothing great or Greek about it. Greeks know how to cook, but this place clearly does not. We stopped in on 7/26 around 8 PM, and my wife’s steak kebab came out rare instead of medium. They actually recooked (a half-chewed piece of steak from her kebab) and served it again, which is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. We were one of only two tables in the place, yet it still took 25 minutes to get undercooked food that is supposed to be a quick meal. My gyro meat looked undercooked, the pita and fries were cold, and the outdoor tables were so filthy we could not even sit there. It was good when they first opened, but now it is obvious the staff does not care. No one even checked if we were satisfied or if the recooked steak or food was okay, the owner must not be around often. I would tell anyone to skip it and head to Yianni’s Taverna, Utopita, Anatolian Kitchen, Sahara Mediterranean, or almost any place nearby. We will...
