Osaka will always be one of my absolute favorite sushi restaurants in Lower Bucks County. I stumbled upon it over a decade ago and it became a place my family and I frequented for many years (until Sushiman opened on Huntingdon Pike; though, I digress, I still hold Osaka in high regard for the quality of its food and service). They do deliver and welcome call-in orders for pickup; though the in-restaurant experience makes it all the more enjoyable; friendly and accommodating staff, decently priced, and amazing food! My favorites are the sunny roll (salmon, tuna, and red snapper with a light frying on the outside), the terry roll (salmon and crunch on the inside with salmon sashimi on the outside), and the sweet potato tempura roll (the ones Osaka makes are the most flavorful I've ever had). This USED TO BE so much better! It was our go to spot for everything from Chinese to Sushi. Now, with the new owners, they are not even average. We’ve tried them out a couple of times just to be fair and I can’t say that anything was done well. I always used to get the sesame shrimp and now the sauce is vastly different ( it even looks different in color). Also, the shrimp batter is soggy instead of fried crispy. The sushi is also clearly different. Definitely not as good quality fish. I wouldn’t say it was rancid or sour, it just didn’t taste good. I’d say the overall the service was fine.
