Blue Dolfin Sweets — Restaurant in Upper Township

Where do I start! Ordering from Blue Dolfin Sweets was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I am blown away by Chef Stefan.

I called this morning to place an order for a large cheesecake for my friend’s birthday. He not only fit me in for a same day delivery, but called me after he delivered the cake to let me know no one was home. That’s when I realized I had given him the wrong address! Instead of being super annoyed with me (which I would have been in his shoes), he was super nice and patiently waited for me to find the right address.

The cake itself was astonishingly beautiful. You can see how much skill and care went into every detail. He even added a collection of assorted pastries to help make my friend’s day even more special.

I was excited to try this bakery for my daughter’s birthday and also pleased that my order was honored just the day before I needed it. I ordered a vanilla cake for a girl with seashells and asked for pink and gold color/decor along with raspberry filling. When I picked the cake up I saw that it was pink and blue but I overlooked this… The cake turned out to be not just horrible but the worst cake I have had. The “layers” were ONE cake layer divided into FOUR! So when eating the cake, you only taste the filling. Now for the filling. This raspberry mousse tasted terribly artificial, so much that I had to brush my teeth to get rid of the aftertaste it left. Stefan is not just an artist. His custom baked goods are not just beautiful. They're baked with love and pride. He really wants you to be happy with what you asked him to create for you. He baked a Strawberry Shortcake with white chocolate mousse for 100 people and there was not one single person at that party who didn't didn't love it how beautful abd delicious it was. He also baked a Cannoli cake with a beautiful beach scene on it and the woman for whom the cakes were made was so happy. His shop looks unassuming but is filled with beautiful and delicious pastries.
