Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake co. — Restaurant in Upper Uwchlan Township

No, no, and NO! Spent $32 on 4 crab cakes.. 2 supposedly jumbo lump, 2 “Signature”… they were horrible. First of all, when I walked into the building in Chester Springs, the horrific smell assaulted my nose. Seafood shouldn’t smell. A “seafood” or crab cake seller’s location shouldn’t smell. We cooked our cakes and had high hopes. The lump cakes tasted only of raw flour. The crab meat had no flavor, the cakes had no flavor. The “signature” cakes also had a bland, bread-y, bad flavor. No sweet crab flavor, just a very bland-to- bad flour/breaded flavor. Even our cats didn’t eat this crab....

Terrible customer service. I went 5 days ago to ask about ordering shrimp for New Year’s Eve and was told by Wayne the owner that I did NOT need to preorder and just come early. I drove all the way there this morning, was there when they opened to be told they had no shrimp and I needed to preorder for New Years Eve?!! (I needed 10 shrimp). Concerning that the owner would give you false information and completely...

We love the quality of Capt’n Chucky’s crab cakes. We have had both the “Colossal” and “Smith Island” varieties. Both excellent. In all honesty though their pricing seems high…A “Colossal” was priced at $13 yesterday. 😳It’s a nice size but $13…Really? On a positive end note…Also would recommend their Creole...
