Arby's — Restaurant in Urbana

I've tried going here before, but the drive thru line was just too long to wait. We decided to dine in this evening. We walked in, and the restaurant was empty save for employees. We were looking at the menu board for a minute since we haven't eaten at an Arby's in a while. There was an employee standing at the register who appeared to be waiting for us so we walked up to place our order...

And they simply turned and walked away.

Not a "I'll be with you in just a moment." Not a "I need to take care of something real quick, I'll be right back." No, they just turned their back and walked away. I saw them walk over near the fry station, and I thought maybe they were just washing their hands? We saw someone with a drive thru headset walk out and look at us before turning around.

At that point, we just left. I mean, I get these jobs aren't glamorous and dealing with people can be a chore. We just wanted to give them money for two combo meals because we were hungry. I don't see us giving this place a third try.

It's hard to rate the food of a place when you never successfully get food from them so my 1-star is based on never actually getting served and...

Just came back from trying to get Arby's through the drive thru. At 1030 on Friday, Dec 4th, there was one car (mustang) at the window and no cars at the ordering screen. The sign and store lights were on. I pulled up to order and there was no greeting. Waited a few minutes and then I started talking into the speaker. No response. I waited a few more minutes, talked again, got nothing, and I pulled away. As I was pulling away, I looked at the window to see if there was anyone inside, and two employees looked back and made eye contact with me. They turned back to each other, one with the headset on and the other and continued just chatting each other up. It says that this location is open until midnight every night. Unacceptable. Not the first time I have been disappointed by this location. Probably...

Occasionally has super friendly employees. One of them is the most professional and courteous employee I’ve seen at a restaurant he deserves recognition and a gold star! But this location is often not open when it’s posted online to be open according to the hours listed online. For example 5/15/2024, at 7:36pm went to the drive thru and tried to order mozzarella sticks and there was no response and no sign of any employees, no sign up about it being closed, and looked dark inside restaurant. It is posted as being open until 10pm. If you’re going to close early please change the hours online and please put up signs if you abandon your restaurant earlier than posted, that’s really bad...
