It's a bit of a hit or miss with this place.

Regarding the pizza, their pies are quite good. Especially thin crust. No complaints from me about that. But their slices, you have to eat them piping hot or else they turn into soggy bland rubber triangles which you have to force yourself to eat. The cheese is half an inch thick and I often times have to peel a lot of it off to make it palatable. The "thin crust" slices are only thin crust in name. They're still the gigantic monstrosities the normal slices are. It's really only worth going to as a college student when they have the "buy one get one slice free" deal on Hooked.

Their burgers are a similar story. 6 dollars for a pretty large patty, pretzel bun, and whatnot, and your run of the mill pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes as free add-ons. cheese is like 50 cents I think and it's nothing special, looks like just some slices of cheese, so you're better off buying a pack of 20 from a store for like 2 dollars more. Their service is pretty slow, it took me 20 minutes to get my burger when I was alone in the restaurant, and they made it for there instead of to go, so I had to wait another 15 minutes, and when I got it back they took off the onions for some reason, I presume because they grilled the onions which I didn't actually pay for, but they didn't replace them with the normal onions, so I was left onionless. They also gave me just 1 slice of tomato, and it was maybe 3/4ths inches across. But, when they do get everything right once in a blue moon, it does taste pretty good. That's not to say I don't like the people there, they're chill and seem like they're doing the best they can, it's just their system for doing things has little to no consideration for the customer's experience. Like, c'mon, I clearly saw you guys accidentally gave me the onions, just let me have them, or at least replace them with normal onions. Don't just take them off and throw them away because I asked for it to go. Similar to before, only really worth getting if you get the "free fries and drink" deal from hooked. Definitely wouldn't pay 6 bucks for this...

I wish I could give this negative stars!!! I work at a company in town to where we have to do lunch and learns for insurance agents. I have used this place to provide the lunches and I have gotten postive feedback from them. So it is not the food that is the problem it is the OWNER SHANE!! I orded a pizza for delivery today like I have done for the past few months. I added a new business for delivery but for some reason I made the mistake of not swtiching the deliever address apparently and it went to my Mom's address. She told me that when the pizza came she told the delivery driver she did not order a pizza but they gave it to her any ways which I dont blame her for doing. After the mistake was caught by me I called the store and spoke with the owner SHANE. He told me that the addres was not added when I was clearing looking at my account and there it was he also stated there was nothing really that he could do and the only help he thought would be good would be to send over a delivery driver to my moms house to pick it up and deliver it to the right address almost an hour and a half after the delivery was made!!! Now what owner would think that would be a logical idea?? He then offered to send another pizza out the right address and wanted me to pay for it to be delivered. Since I made the mistake I told him I have no problem doing that but did not have my company card with me. He again explained that there is nothing he can do for me then. After SHANE got aggravated with this and me he finally said he would have another pizza deliverd to the right addrese free of charge. SHANE the owner did not send a pizza over at all!!! And this is why I made this post I will never order anything from this place and if you read this before going there I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog. The amout of disrespect the owner showed over the phone over $18 worth of pizza should tell you everything you need to know...

Ordered pizza spaghetti and wings with my husband tonight and the attendant continued to make mistakes on our order while wearing airpods. She said our wings would be done in 10 minutes and the rest of the order in 25 minutes. After 35 minutes I approached the counter and she said our food would be ready in 5 or 6 minutes and it was very busy in the kitchen tonight. This was about 5:30 on a Friday. After 10 more minutes my husband and I approach the counter seeing customer after customer get their pizza orders and not receiving ours. 8 people walked out the door with their pizza and after clearing all but one order from the counter (and the over flow) the customer service person found our order pushed to the back of the counter. We grabbed our order and expressed we were very disappointed at having to wait so long. As we approached the door and began to leave we noticed the food was not warm. We returned to the counter and asked for a refund. A separate customer service individual asked us if we were sure the food was cold and my husband said, "you can eat this pizza if you want to but we will be getting our money back, it is cold and we waited almost an hour." After that we received a refund and a brief apology but the original customer service person did not look in our direction during the encounter. Avoid this experience unless you want to dedicate your...

Writing this 9/27/2024 been going here occasionally for about 10 years, it’s really good to have on occasion. Pros: -cool Chicago decorations and photography on the walls -delicious pizza Other info: -street metered parking -they have a slice of pizza and fountain drink deal -they have canned drinks and bottled drinks and fountain drinks available -They have a rewards program with phone number but it’s not really clear how it works or what you earn etc. -they used to have a fresh good ranch dressing but they changed it at one point to a pre-packed ranch which wasn’t as good, not sure if they still use that

OVERALL RATING 8/10 This establishment is very clean, especially when you account for all the foot traffic that comes through their doors. The floors, tables, and bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is city-like; which explains why Rosati’s originated in Chicago. As far as the thin-crust, large pizza-pie I ordered, it was absolutely delicious. The wait for the pie was approximately 23 minutes from the order time to our table. This isn’t bad at all considering it is made to order and they don’t utilize a “flash cook” oven like many pizza restaurants incorporate.

Ordered a cheese deep dish pizza and it was singly handly not only the worse deep dish pizza Ive ever had but also the worse pizza I've ever had. The pizza was pretty much soup, the cheese and sauce were so liquefied that it was falling off the slice as soon as it was pulled up. There were also barely any cut slices I had to use my own pizza cutter to cut a slice to even try to eat this. I was only able to eat one slice before I had to throw the whole pizza away because of how awful it was. Won't be coming back to rosatis. I'd prefer papa dels deep dish any day of the week over this.
