Dairy Queen in general is awesome. But this Dairy Queen is absolutely awful. They almost never get the order right . It's always 30 minutes to get the simplest of orders. The last time I went I sat at drive up order board for 5 minutes and Noone acknowledged I was even there. .after I said hello a few times she asked me to wait. 5 minutes later with 3 cars behind me , all waiting, I said hello again three more times and got no response till I finally just gave up and left. The time before that I ordered a simple cheeseburger meal with onion rings and a side of gravy. They didn't give me onion rings or the gravy. So I drove back around waited behind 2 more cars told them and 10 minutes later they brought out onion rings but forgot the gravy. Again. I can tell you a story just like this for almost every time I have been to this dairy Queen. Hands down the most awful service of any restaurant or fast food place anywhere I've ever been. Read moreA fairly typical DQ experience. Was disappointed with the friendliness of the lady at the register taking orders. A young boy who had to stand on his tip toes to see over the counter asked "do you have any ice cream?" and received no response or acknowledgement at all from the cashier. His Mom then comforted him with her hand on his head and a few kind words.
The lady at the register was also very inflexible...I ordered an ice cream cone with a free coupon on the DQ app. She asked which dip I wanted on it and I told her I just wanted a plain cone (fewer calories...and saves the restaurant money anyway). She insisted that I MUST pick a dip because that is what the coupon said. I said fine...dip it in cherry - then waited by the counter to intercept the person making it and was successful in asking him to not dip it and just give it to me plain. A very simple solution if the objective is customer satisfaction...

Read moreFloor was so sticky when we walked in my sandal came off. We then waited over 5 minutes for someone to be at the register to wait on us. We got 2 blizzards and waited 20 minutes. At one point I stood up to see the cook looking at her phone instead of working and 2 people just standing there by the drive thru doing nothing. I asked if anyone was working because we were still waiting. When I called the employee out for being on her phone she just shrugged and walked away. There were customers standing there waiting for service. Four couples walked out without service. My blizzard was runny. All the tables were dirty and one customer's kid got a rag to wipe off the table his parent and grandparents wanted to sit at because no employee would do it.
