I placed a party order for 6pm delivery, in the morning. At 6:20pm, still there was no sign of the delivery person. When I called them up, they said they have lots of orders and that's why there is a delay and I should be aware that there will be a delay in such situation.
As a customer, I placed the order well in advance for them to 'plan' their orders for accurate delivery. They tried to blame 'the number of orders' to cover up the 'mis-management' on their side. If the system can't accept beyond certain amount orders in an hour, because it causes delivery issues on orders already placed, that should be told to the customer when trying to place the order.
Dominos tried to patronize by giving an automated 20% off coupon for the next order, via an automated email, which I did not accept. I felt embarrassed in front of my guests, who were all little kids, waiting for pizza to arrive and their 20% off coupon is not going to wipe off that.
This was the first time I tried their 'contactless' delivery option. I used to carryout orders before and hadn't faced delays on those.
Giving this rating mainly because of the poor attitude they showed on the call and the lame reason...
Read moreWe live in a newer apartment complex that does not have all the roads on GPS location yet. I provided detailed instructions to call me so I can direct the driver. The store called me 45 minutes after placing an order to verify our address. After providing detailed instructions on where the apartment complex is located, the name of the complex, and identifying points of location for the driver, the worker on the phone provided zero options other than stating the address was not found in their system. They never once offered for us to switch our order to pickup and never gave any other solution to resolve this. I asked for them to cancel and refund our order if they were not going to present any other solution for us to receive the order we placed and paid for. I will never order from this location again after their lack of customer service for finding a solution. I guess one of the workers now gets to eat our order since they did not bother to verify there were no issues with our address before making and wasting...
Read moreEverything was going well... until it wasn't. I ordered two orders of pizza, one to arrive at 11 AM and the second to arrive at 12 PM. The first arrived a little early, and that was great.
Well, the second was listed as being delivered at 12:15 as opposed to 12:00. To my knowledge, it wasn't even put into the oven until 12:16. Then it was stuck on "quality control" for about 15-20 minutes. It finally left to be delivered around 12:46. I tried calling the store 3 times, one phone call lasting 12 minutes, and no one answered.
I don't know what's going on at Lionville Domino's, but it doesn't seem good. For the amount of money I spent, for placing the order last night, and for trying to provide my students a fun afternoon, this was a pretty disappointing turn of events.
Update: Order 2, which arrived late, only arrived with 2/5 pizzas. They offered to bring it back, which was kind, but it was too late. Still haven't spoken to a manager despite making 5+ phone calls. This place sucks. Avoid...
