Guo's Garden — Restaurant in Uwchlan Township

Ever since Guo's was taken over by new management, every experience I have had, with the exception of one, has been unpleasant. They are located about 10-15 minutes from where I live. The first time under the new management, I was told they wouldn't deliver to me because "I lived too far." I tried again a few weeks later to see if maybe it was just the person I spoke with.... after much discussion with the second young man I spoke with, he was very willing to deliver to me and even stated that it wasn't far at all and explained they had been taken over by new management. This young gentleman was fantastic and I was very appreciative of his willingness to deliver to me - even though I don't live far at all. I called again today to place an order and was told again that "I live too far and in order for them to deliver to me, I had to order $30 worth of food. I AM ONE PERSON!" I will not be ordering from this place again which really is a shame because I enjoyed their food. They were the only Chinese place near me that has good food, and excepts credit...

TLDR: get the vegan chicken with broccoli and come during their lunch special. This place probably deserves 3 stars, but I’m giving an extra star because it’s one of the few places in the area that serves a variety of vegan options. With that said, some of the options are practically inedible. Don’t get me wrong. I love the vegan chicken with broccoli. I love the vegan ham with mixed vegetables. I eat there regularly because the food is reasonably priced and I honestly love these 2 dishes—dream about them. However, I’ve ordered I think it was the sweet and sour vegan chicken and we had to throw that out it was so bad. I’ve had several soggy spring rolls there. I saw a one star review about child labor. In my experience, it’s more like: the owner’s 12 year old or so son looks up from his homework and takes pity on you since you’ve been waiting for someone to bring the check. Man what to say about this place..well theres alot actually to say about it. I ate there the other day ordered two general tso's combination platters with pork friend rice and egg roll on the side with one order of crab rangoon. First off, crab rangoon was filled with simply just cream cheese with NO crab at ALL. This is not how crab rangoon is served, its supposed to come with red sauce and crab inside but there was NONE no red sauce no crab. Second off, general tso's was fatty and tough practically MEATLESS as well as it gave me horrible stomach pains and bathroom problems me and my fiancee BOTH. I was just on the way home and decided to stop in and try this place utterly dissapointed and i really don't recommend this place to anyone at all considering they can't even do general tso's right oh and their rice? like paper was so dry and disguisting i am baffled still just can't believe how...
