Favela's Mexican — Restaurant in Vacaville

I immediately emerged myself in conversation with what seemed to be the Manager and/or possibly the owner(he rushed up to the register) not only was he trying to justify what I wanted in my burritos, as if in a hurry n nobody behind me and kept putting words in my mouth. Very respectfully I asked him, are your burritos big, cause I like big burritos and he said just look at the tortillas, which seemed to be bigger than Chipoodle's by a good margin! When I got out in my car n looked at burritos and was very disappointed and could not believe I had just had a Burrito from Green Burrito/Carls JR last night that was a bit bigger n taste was on point, but for $2 more from a Mexi restaurant n a whole lot a tortilla? Common Man! How do you expect to survive, "GOOD PRODUCT IS GOOD BUSINESS, DONT SERVE HALF TORTILLA BURRITOS( IF YA GOTTA ADD MORE RICE N BEANS TO FILL, THEN DO SO "DO NOT SERVE HALF TORTILLA BURITTOS"! NOT GOOD FOD FOR BUSINESS!

Sad, very sad and I judge Burritos over the vast majority of Sac. Down through the Bay. BOTTOM LINE, I ASKED IF THE BURRITOS WERE BIG, GOT LIED TO AND GOT A HALF TORTILLA/BURRITO! NOT COOL FOR A CONSUMER BURRITO LOVER! OH! AND YOUR...

The place is open until 9pm...whatever you do don't go in after 8:30pm to sit down and eat. After a long 14 hour day my husband and I decided to grab a bite to eat before going home. On our way we learned that the kids had not eaten yet, but wanted to stop on their way home too and have dinner with us (a rare moment since we all work). We were aware that the establishment was closing soon (we arrive at 8:32) so my husband and I went ahead and placed our order. Then a few minutes later the kids texted in their order, so their food could be ready when they arrived. When my husband placed the kids order, he asked if it could be for "here" and was told it had to be "to go" because they were closing in 7 minutes (it was 12 minutes to 9).

We do not make a habit of going in right before closing, but it has happened once before at a different establishment and were treated the same as if we walked in an hour after opening.

I have never been to an restaurant where you had the staff staring at you while you ate, have a staff member point out that its closing time, and make one feel like you were not welcome the moment you walked...

I’ve been going to this restaurant for over twelve years. I really thought this place was a very peaceful and professional establishment until one server started working there by the name of Lupe. She has made the environment very uncomfortable for myself and many other professionals in our area. She is very unprofessional and rude to all of the regular customers. Now, we chose to rather not complain but take our business meetings, luncheons and catering gatherings to other restaurants. We’ve also chose other establishments to host our social events.
