I went to Journey Downtown for a comedy night, and I didn't actually know they had a full bar and restaurant inside. Inside was one bartender, Evan, and he was incredibly nice & the drink was great! He was able to craft some kind of schnapps/vodka drink since I told him I like sweet things, and I don't drink much. I ended up really enjoying it and getting another.
For food, we weren't sure what to get, so Amara at the front suggested an avocado bacon burger with parmesan fries and a iced graham cracker latte. It was $25 for all of that, which is a bit pricey but honestly was worth it because the portion was big enough for us to share and be full too. My husband liked the burger so much actually he said he'd go just for the food.
The space itself is pretty cute, it's a good venue. It's nice to know that you're able to go to the restaurant/bar without actually seeing a show. I hope their social media improves so I'm not confused about what time the shows are and when they're actually open. 5/5 food/staff/bar, just wish their IG and stuff showcased how good the place actually is...cuz it looks kinda lame online BUT don't let it deter you, it's a great low-key place to get food, a drink & see a show. A hidden gem in downtown...

I'm from out of state, and going to Journey is a routine visit. I can't leave town without my Journey fix.
As with all of their locations, the facility was extremely well organized, themed and immaculate!
I used to go to that theater as a kid, so it was fun to see the place again.
The staff was friendly and kept themselves busy taking care of the customers.
Compared to a popular competitor, Journey's coffee is top notch! The flavor is full but not bitter. I always get the Lavender latte. It's to die for!
I'd enthusiastically & fully recommend Journey coffee to everyone within driving distance of one of their several locations. It's...
Read moreWhat a unique coffee shop. The owners converted the front of an older movie theater into a coffee shop. They also have food items. And looks like they have the ability to serve liquor in the evenings when they host a live show or band inside the theater. I love when people get creative and revitalize a piece of history. I had a hot matcha and my husband had a vanilla latte. We both thought the drinks were yummy. I had a BLT sandwich to eat and my husband had the breakfast tacos. They were both delicious. They atmosphere is upbeat and the staff...
