So I came for dinner on a Thursday around 6. I ordered at the counter, pizza and bottle of wine. I paid (and tipped), then was handed a plate, napkin, a wine glass and the unopened bottle. So I made my way to a nice outside table, it wasn’t busy. Then I needed to open the wine, so I headed back in for a wine key. The person at the counter opened the wine, (which had a screw top but didn’t look like it). I waited 50 minutes for the wood fired pizza which was undercooked, the crust white and soggy. I flagged down an employee and requested a new pizza. It came 15 mins later and was perfect. My issue with the place is service. No one checked on me, no one asked me how things were. The pizza dough itself was bland and so disappointing. We got the margarita pizza and their pesto pizza which was a special. Both pizzas were drenched in a balsamic glaze. A drizzle would have been fine… We also had a side salad that I’m forgetting the name for. It was ok. Compared to the pizza, it shined. With that space, they are really missing a great opportunity.
