I can't quite explain the 4.5 star average review except perhaps for lack of competition; so this Thai spot may indeed be "the best Thai food around."
Pad See Ew - 4.5 stars (~$9): This was definitely the highlight of the meal. The noodles had the perfect texture - soft, silky, but not too mushy. The chicken was not too dry, and the flavor was overall very delicious. It was all down hill from here.
Seafood Special - 1.5 stars ($14.95): Small portion of yellow curry (frozen) seafood stir fry. The quality of the seafood was unforgivable.
Duck Noodle Soup - 1.5 stars ($8.95): The broth was bland, there were a few pieces of duck (which were mostly fat or bone), and the noodles were an untraditional medium flat rice dry noodle, not fully cooked. It was edible but reminded me of instant noodles.
The complementary salad was a nice touch and the service was very friendly, but the food overall was mediocre. I would return for the pad see ew but nothing else.

Read moreHave been here several times over the years. Has changed hands a few times, and we have stopped coming. We tried it again yesterday, and it was okay. The food is definitely more Laos style. We saw that the Papaya Salad was available in both Laos and Thai style. This is a tell that the food is more Laos than Thai. We chose the Thai style, and it was good. Maybe a little too sweet ,but it's a good flavor. We had had the pork belly appetizer, and it was not very good. Hard and dry. I ordered Pad Thai, and it was more like spaghetti. Very wet and drippy. No sprouts or greens, just peanuts and a couple of lime wedges. It wasn't bad tasting. it just wasn't what I expected. Service was fine, although maybe a little slow to start. There was nobody else in the restaurant, but it was just after 5, and they seemed to be getting some to go orders.
There was no hand soap in the bathroom, only hand sanitizer. A lot of things are stored in the dining room. Not a place I would...
Read moreI just had lunch here today and was so very disappointed. We ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls as an appetizer, I ordered the Pad Preaw Wan and my daughter ordered one of the noodle dishes. Our rolls didn't come out until my daughter's dish did. I still had to wait almost 10 more minutes for my dish to come out. I thought the Rolls were amazing and they are the reason they got 2 stars. I took my first bite and was so excited as it looked fantastic, what a disappointment, it tasted just like Heinz Ketchup I couldn't believe it. I had my daughter taste it and asked her what she thought, she also thought it tasted just like ketchup. I told the server I didn't care for it at all and that it tasted like ketchup and asked him to take it away and to please bring me the same thing my daughter had. Once she was finished and we continued to wait for another 20 minutes and still had not received my replacement we decided to leave. I will not...
