Pacific Ace Hardware — Local services in Vacaville

Pacific Ace Hardware in Vacaville is my favorite hardware store and Ace location! They have everything I want and then some! Their staff is knowledgeable helpful & kind and always greet you with a smile and eager to assist. From time to time when I stop in I happen to be hungry - and they quickly whip up some delish popcorn and it hits the spot! What I love most is that this store looks to be smaller on the outside than it actually is! Like a magical bag of holding, there are many many more rooms than you could ever guess! Inside the store goes on and on, just when u think you are at the back of the store, there’s yet another room, and another! They sell all kinds of fantastic things from typical hardware to candles, and top quality and brand name products to rare and hard to find items like Worlds smallest and many many more! The prices are just right too! Everything is best quality! They keep everything well stocked, and it is easy to get in and out quickly! If I had to be shopping give me Pacific Ace Hardware over an other type of store/mall. I call this store "My Happy Place". Their comment to service is impeccable. Where else can you go to find one nut or bolt without having to buy a whole bunch of them? Believe me sometimes you truly only need 1 not 10+. I can just wander around and come up with ideas for this or that. From plumbing sullplies I turned a cheap rolling chair in to a multi level computer desk along with some spare wood I had laying around. I use screening material for the bottom of my flower pots. And again I must say that if you have a question the staff there will have an answer for you unless of course there's nothing that can be done to fix it. The fact that I can just wander around and let my mind go wild with ideas is great too. The staff isn't pushy. I just tell them that I am just grazing around lol. Other Ace stores are good but this one is the tops!! I do wish that they were open later but I am just happy that...

i went in the store the other day to look for some lacquer spray for my chili ristras to protect them. I got them from New Mexico. There was one gentleman who was great in assisting me, but he referred me to a Todd (the paint specialist).

I saw how he was interacting with one older woman, and it was not settling well with me. He was a bit obnoxious. Anyway, he assisted me and was looking for the lacquer spray and told him what i was using it for. He was obnoxious with me too. He was asking what I was using it for and i told him. He was a bit curt with me and said some thing to the effect of, "you want to use it for that?". I responded "yes, do you have it?". He said "no" in a very obnoxious manner. Well, i figured i'm not going to argue with the dude.

I am going to address this with the manager. This ought not be and the dude could have been more polite. I hope the management addresses...
