I have lived in the area for 3 years and have gone to this location religiously 3-5 times a week. 2019-2021 GREAT! I dont know what happened but sometime in 2022 the service, staff, and beverages have tanked. Today was the farthest sink and I am taking out a credit card to buy my own espresso machine. It was red cup day (understandably busy). I was told 15-20 min wait. My sandwich came out right away and I waited about 25 min. I asked the manager who was keeping on eye on the line and handing out beverages where I was on the list. After looking, he determined I wasnt on the list anymore. Someone took my drink or it wasnt made but marked off. He asked the Baristas and they said "its done, we did it" and he struggled to get them to make it again. Another 10 min went by and 20+ beverages were handed out and mine had not come. I was upset and expressed that I was already late for work and had been in there for almost 45 min. He asked the baristas again and AGAIN they ignored him. Finally I started to tear up and someone made a beverage. I get to my car, drive a mile away and it was just hot milk, no coffee, no flavor. Not the small toasted white mocha I had waited 45 min for. I have been dealing with wrong beverages, rude interactions, and messy sandwiches for too long. I know I sound like a spoiled brat, but I was a barista with Starbucks and Caribou for many years and I know the drill. I dont know if customer service has just fallen this low, or if I just have rose colored glasses on, but to wait 45 min for hot milk is going too far for a business that charges $5+ for 12oz lattes. Thank you Starbucks for freeing me from your capitalist grasp and giving me the motivation to invest in my own machine so I can make my own $1 latte. PS:My frap version of your caramel macchiato beats out any seasonal beverage you have put out in the...
Read moreI dont want to be a downer on Christmas eve, and I know they were busy, but to be lied to warrants this. For about 3 years I do Ubereats occasionally for a side gig. Some Starbuck make you go in...thats fine, some don't, that's fine too. Sometimes I think it depends on who's working. And that's okay too lol!! But at this location I've NEVER been asked to go inside. She said it was policy. So I asked okay, since when, she said since forever. Now I'd be fine with this. Except then I was stuck in line, couldn't back up, couldn't go forward. That still would have been fine, but to have some kid flat out lie, screw that. I understand working with young people can be challenging. But please Train them to not lie, or think they can get away with it with grown adults. Thank you....PS by the time I was able to leave they could have just handed me the order. I won't be accepting orders...
Read moreThis is the Starbucks right by my house and I come here often for a very specific drink that is sometimes a little tricky and I politely and kindly asked the woman to be sure it’s made how I like. Truthfully, I am somewhat of a self reported coffee “snob” but never snobby to the people working because I too work in food service. She responds to me “I can tell them…” with some attitude clearly trying to tell me not to count on my order being made properly.
I drive up to check out after ordering and I’ve never felt so much like high school all over again. Some blonde girl with too much lip filler drops down my coffee while whispering in the girls ear while she laughs. Hello? I’m not stupid? I know you’re talking shit. I’m just a girl trying to make it through her day treating herself to something nice to turn the mood around and instead I was so embarrassed. I won’t be...
