Azalea City creamery — Restaurant in Valdosta

Customer service on yesterday 3.13.25 around 7pm-ish was non existent. Young lady was on her computer in the back, my coworker and I were never greeted and she dryly responded (after she decided to come to the counter) when I ask her a question about the ice cream selection. At that point we left and did not purchase anything. Now I will say that on 02.12.25 at around 6pm-ish I stopped by for the first time and had fantastic customer service from a different young lady. I am sorry I don’t remember her name but she was sweet, friendly, took pride in her product and was upselling and I fell for it and got two scoops…great experience. I wanted more ice cream and I brought someone because of my first experience. It only takes a couple of minutes to gain a customer for life and a couple of seconds to ruin it forever. My husband, our two son's (one and, 3 months) and I went here not too long ago. We got our oldest son a cup of vanilla icecream with sprinkles which he absolutely adored. He had icecream all over him so much he needed a bath afterwards. My husband got a cup with both birthday cake and red velvet he and I both thought it was good.

I got the cheesecake flavor I'm not too sure what it was called but I do know it was some sort of cheesecake flavor. The ladies up from helping us were really sweet and helpful which I really appreciated. When our youngest son gets old enough we'll more than likely take him here for his first icecream. My husband and I were THRILLED when we saw that the Azalea Creamery was being constructed. Every time we drove by we checked if it was open because we’ve been so excited to have a real ice cream place in Valdosta! We tried it tonight and it exceeded all expectations. The ice cream had a great thick yet smooth texture and the flavors were spot on. Beyond that, even the service was great. The man we presume to be the owner was very personable and accommodating. If you are looking for delicious ice cream, this is the place to go. They have 24 flavors plus specialty flavors (the specialty flavors rotate every week, I think?).
