The WORST Blaze Pizza experience ever. My wife introduced me to Blaze Pizza in New Orleans in 2015 as she knows that pizza is my favorite food. Seriously, I could eat it as my only meal. We eat a restricted diet, and I can state categorically that vegan pizza options were fantastically limited at that time. Blaze offered us the ability to get a stone fired pizza, our way, with our choice of toppings for one price, dine in or takeout, with vegan options, astoundingly quickly, and at a great price. I was in heaven. We signed up for the rewards program, and ate there every time I could. The atmosphere was fun, and lively. Everyone at the store was very friendly, and the fresh blood orange lemonade was amazing. We were traveling quite a bit at that time and discovered Blaze Pizzas all over in our travels. It was always the same great experience. Fun, lively, fresh, amazing pizza, and fresh fruit lemonades. Fast Forward to 2022 and I was so excited to hear that my hometown Valdosta was getting a Blaze Pizza. I anxiously awaited opening day. I have never been more disappointed. The first visit was a complete Shakespearean comedy of errors. Missing items, burnt pizza, ripped dough, incomplete saucing, staff standing around staring at each other, no greetings, limited customer interaction, absent ingredients, and they even managed to mess up the blood orange lemonade (my second favorite item ((pizza is the first))). The lemonade tasted like old sugar water that was stirred in the same building as some random fruit. It wasn't tart, cool, or refreshing, it was awful. Okay, so you are saying to yourself give them a break, it was opening and crazy and they needed time to find their footing. NOPE. It has only gotten worse from that point. We have been back on every single day of the week, and at random times ranging from lunch through close, and the experience has never gotten better (if anything it is worse). It was not just a bad single visit. The overall feel from the staff is confusion, and panic. It is not lively, and welcoming. It is chaotic. I am a creature of habit, and I get the same thing EVERY TIME; so I have a basis of comparison. My high rise build your own has ranged from half burnt (on one side) to almost raw dough. The sauce is usually haphazardly smacked on with large areas completely unsauced. The high rise dough is usually ripped in one or more areas. The toppings have been less than fresh on many occasions. This last visit the mushrooms were slimy and smelled off. We have had cashier with a complete inability to know what money was. Seriously, she didn't know what bill or coin was each amount. She wasn't having a bad day, she didn't know how to process a cash transaction. We have had other cashiers with the inability to process a reward transaction, still others were unable to process gift card transactions. Our last visit on 10 November we ordered our usual three pizzas (the restaurant wasn't busy, only 1 other customer in addition to us). The cook tried to put the other customer's pizza with our order and then tried to give away our pizza to another customer. It is a very simple system. The metal numbers correspond to each paper order. When we finally got that settled I realized that my daughter's pizza was burnt, my wife's pizza had been flung onto the far corner of the cooling rack and was cold, and my high rise was mostly raw. We only keep hoping that this Blaze location will get turned around and up to par with the average...
Read moreI'm beyond frustrated with my recent experience at Blaze Pizza. I thought I was being smart by ordering online around 2:30 PM for a 5:15 PM pickup, specifically to avoid any hassle. Instead, my husband arrived right on time only to find our order wasn't even close to being ready. What's the whole point of ordering ahead if you're still stuck waiting around in the restaurant? It completely defeats the purpose and just makes you wonder why you bothered with the online system at all. But the issues didn't stop there. To add insult to injury, the website's wording is incredibly misleading. I was under the impression I was ordering two full 11-inch pizzas. Imagine my shock and utter irritation when we realized we'd actually received what amounted to half an 11-inch pizza for each order – a measly three slices total! This wasn't just a small mix-up; it was a huge letdown and a serious misrepresentation of what I thought I was paying for. Tonight's experience with Blaze Pizza was incredibly irritating, highly disappointing, and frankly, a complete waste of time. I expected...
Read moreI wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. Tonight my husband and I decided we wanted something sweet after dinner. My husband walked in, no greeting. He stood at the register because we only wanted cookies. All the workers glanced back and continued their conversation. One of the female workers asked if he needed anything, my husband said yes, just cookies. The worker turned her head and continued doing what she was doing. My husband is just awkwardly standing there and we felt as if we were in the twilight zone. After another minute or two we just walked off. WORST customer service ever. I do not expect to be treated like royalty because of military status but we were over seas 7 years and NEVER EXPERIENCED this type of nonsense. It was our first time at this pizza place in Valdosta and it will definitely be the last. If the manager happens to read this "You need to fire every last one of those employees that worked 6/4/2022 closing shift". I will never spend a dollar here EVER just...
