Smallcakes Cupcakery — Restaurant in Valdosta

Ordered cupcakes in advance for Mothers Day, I always order cupcakes for every holiday and birthday in my house. I had my sister pick them up the day of due to being out of town. When she gets to the bakery they claim to not have an order under that name. Mind you I not only ordered in advance I have already paid and tipped. Turns out my order was supposably stuck to another and gave to the wrong person. Needless to say 3 of the 8 cupcakes needed to choose a different flavor. Another two were thrown together, the chocolate covered strawberry was then cold so it starting sweating all over the frosting on the cupcake, ruining those 2. Five out of eight were NOT what I ordered. A gift that was ruined! Call to speak to the manager she was not available, I asked to have HER call me back, Employee insisted the manager would give me a call back when she was available. I later receive a Call from the same employee instead of the manager, like I previously asked and was told would give me a call. Custom ordered my son's 16th birthday cake. It was horrible! The cake was not ready at the scheduled pick up time, it was not delivered when promised, we literally got the cake 20min before his party was scheduled to end. It tasted good (only reason for 1 star) but looked like an amateur just threw it together. The frosting was rough and uneven, the decorations looked lumpy and thick. All this after confirming multiple times they could do the design/decoration he wanted. They should have said it was beyond their capabilities so I could have gone elsewhere and gotten it right and on time. UPDATE: Yes, I have the right location. Delivery was offered when it was not ready at pick up and I informed the ladies at the counter that our party was off site and I would not be able to return to pick it up. Placed an order for a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for our daughter as a surprise. Well imagine our surprise when our daughter calls to thank us for five cupcakes. I call small cakes to see if they can delivery the strawberries. Answer is no because door dasher left (turns out there were two orders with similar names) and while the manager did say she was sorry, she offered no solution. I had to ask for a refund when they refused to deliver. (The cupcakes could not be eaten nor were wanted). Dissapointed with the VERY poor customer service and just general lack of care.
