Hardee’s — Restaurant in Valdosta

I came into this location on January 24, 2014 at around 4:30 PM. The initial presentation (exterior) was pretty clean, but it was once I walked inside the store where things got a lot worse. The customer service was terrible. The girl at the front counter who took our orders didn't seem sure of what she was doing. We sat at the counter and explained the order to her (not very complicated) Just two combo number 2's with no onion and extra tomato and pickles plus a number 5.

After calling another employee to the front (Who was, by the way drinking out of an open cup, and seemed to be very careless with the words she was using in front of us.) The cashier finally got our order through and we paid around $25 for it. The food was ordered to go and we were told to sit at a table until she brought it to us. We could not find a clean table at the moment, many of the tables were unclean and some even had trays, cups, paper etc from customers who had previously eaten before we arrived. Most of the employees were just standing around inside of the dining room, carrying on conversation as if we weren't even there. Most of the conversations included profanity and continuous use of "the N word"

The cashier brought our food out as an "eat in" order first, and then had to go back behind the counter to bag our food. Once we got home, our order was completely wrong. NO TOMATOES ON ANYTHING. I am a normal Hardees customer to the location in my hometown, and I love their food and the company, and try to visit one in every city I am in. But this, was by far the worst experience I've had at a Hardees...

How hard is it and how much knowledge is required to place a piece of meat in between a biscuit??!! I ordered a plain sausage biscuit and I specifically said that. The one who took my order rudely interrupted me and yelled “You want combo 2”, whatever the number was. So that has me furious! Yes I know by law you are supposed to say combo 1 or combo 3 but because I DO NOT WANT MY SANDWICH LOADED WITH 15 THINGS ON IT I HAVE TO SPECIFICALLY SAY MEAT AND BREAD! I drove to the window paid for my order and drove around. When I took my biscuit out I knew it was wrong because it was big heavy. I opened it and it was loaded with egg and cheese! So I marched inside the building 3 employees ignored me because they knew why I was in there because my order was wrong!! I stood there for 10 minutes! Finally an employee asked what I needed. I explained my order was wrong. I placed my entire order on the counter and left! That was $5.20 I lost!! Because the new law blamed on Covid is if they mess up my order it is my fault and I am required to pay for another meal and hope and pray they get that right the second time!!!...

This used to be a very good Hardee's with friendly employees, but not anymore. I was the only person in line to order and it took almost 10 minutes for anyone to come take my order even though 3 employees kept looking at me. I was actually leaving when someone finally came. I should have, instead I ordered. It took 20 minutes to get our food which consisted on 2 kids hamburger meals and a regular chicken strip. When we finally got our food, one hamburger that was ordered plain was loaded, the chicken was burnt, the hamburgers charred black. None of the food was editable. By this time we we're going to be late to a doctor's appointment so we ended up throwing the food away and leaving. After the appointment the kids were starving so I had to take them somewhere to finally get food we could eat. My husband did the maintenance on this store for over 10 years and it was a good place with good employees.
