Burritos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Valdosta

This has been my go to spot since I moved to Valdosta in 2017. I’ve gotten the exact same thing every single time so I gotta say, it’s pretty interesting to see my meal that cost just over $10 in 2017 now costs almost $16. Wouldn’t say I’m well versed in economic inflation but $6 seems like way too much and it only hurts their staff who no longer get a tip from me cause what do I look like paying almost $20 for a burrito bowl lol. But alas, I still walk in and get my same order regularly. The reason for my review though is I just started eating my normal order and it tastes nothing like it should. Idk if the gauc has changed or what but my entire burrito bowl taste like an onion and I have nothing with onion (except I’m seeing diced onion in the gauc that I’ve never noticed before). This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten my normal order and had it taste wildly different than what I’m used to. Idk just sucks to see a place I love so much keep going up on prices and then to not have consistency with what my order tastes like is just super annoying. Not to mention the staff used to be way nicer lol seems like they’ve been letting anyone behind that counter these days. But yeah I just wasted $16 and now I’m starving and have to get back to work so honestly not sure I’ll be taking my chances with burritos anymore. RIP Burritos...

My family and I were forced to eat outside 2 hours before they closed in the dark(two lights were out).There were no signs posted that the dining room inside was closed and one table was still being utilized by three guests. The staff conveniently failed to mention this when we paid over $50 for our food as well. After paying, my family and I were just starting to sit at a table (around 7pm)when we were approached by staff and rudely told you cannot eat here. Keep in mind that this restaurant does not close until 9pm. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. So I then asked for the contact information of the owner and they refused. They had 4 people working the front line and one cook in the back of the restaurant. Plenty of staff to keep a total of 7-8 tables clean. I sure hope the owner reads this review as he/she might not be aware that their staff is not allowing guest to eat inside so they can leave quickly as possible after their shift ends or due to pure laziness. This is unacceptable and will be the last time my family dines here. We will take our business to Sucheros and Chipotle when it opens soon as they have never treated...

Food portions were okay and the restaurant was clean but the steak and chicken tasted like they been cooked three times. Meat was burnt and very dry. We went at 6:30pm on a Sunday and it was fairly busy so I expected better food in the ‘dinner rush’. Staff seemed in such a hurry to get you through the line that they were reaching over each other and you couldn’t communicate well because the other costumers and staff were talking so closely on either side of you. Atmosphere felt too impatient to make ANY decisions on toppings. She was asking ‘what else’ while I was still listing toppings. Had a coupon for free quest from sga connections and staff said ‘I don’t know what to do with this’. Not a great...
