I am giving them a 3 because I come here almost everyday because I have a child who's a picky eater and she loves their shrimp. Anyway I went through the drive thru right before closing on Thursday, May 27 and ordered 2 10 piece shrimp with extra seasoning, 2 20 piece shrimp with extra seasoning, and a red velvet cake. I got all the way home and realized there was no extra seasoning and ALL of my shrimp were burnt. I spent $32 and the food was just not edible. I called the next morning and was told by some lady that they didn't do refunds and I should have brought the food back. Remind you They were closed. Anyway I went again today, Friday May 28 around 530 and the owner was there. I ordered the 30 piece shrimp again and explained that I wanted extra seasoning and to make sure my shrimp were not burnt. The cashier asked if I wanted to speak to owner and I said yes. Do you know that he didn't even care enough for his customer to even come see what the problem was. That did it for me I WILL NEVER BE SPENDING MY MONEY HERE AGAIN. THE OWNER IS BAD FOR HIS OWN BUSINESS. DONT EVER FORGET WHERE YOU STARTED FROM AND WITHOUT SATISFIED CUSTOMERS THERE IS...

The local business I was installing the network system in mentioned Hip-Hot “Must eat there”. I went yesterday evening and ordered Tilapia dinner. I loved the food so much. I went again today and ordered the Louisiana chicken sandwich with Hushpuppies. The Tilapia was lightly patted with perfectly spiced flowers, and the sandwich was carefully crafted . The bun in the bottom topped with bed of vegetables and coleslaw and crowned with chicken patty freshly fried and pan tossed with Louisiana sauce. First I started with the hushpuppies ( little upcharge from the fries but believe me it’s worth it). By the time I got to the sandwich, first it was wrapped with its own paper. Then I was worried by the time I get to the sandwich the bottom bun will be soaked with the fried chicken and sauce like other restaurants. Not this place. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. I looked inside from the drive through window and saw the owner working inside. That explains it. If you ever pass by Valdosta, GA stop here for a great service,...

Good Food, But extremely poor Customer Service The service I received from both Karen and Chey was very disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed rushed and impatient. Constantly rushing and interrupting me as I was trying to place my order. In the middle of ordering drinks to go with the meals, I was suddenly told that he couldn’t finish my order because the line was backing up into the road, and I needed to pull up to the window. When I got to the window, it turned out they hadn’t even entered my order, so I had to repeat it 3-4 times in total. To add to this, while replacing my order at the window, Karen saw I had $100 in hand. Before even giving me my total, she abruptly said, “I don’t have change for that.” She then asked if I was paying by card or cash without ever providing the total. When I asked for the total, she seemed irritated by the question. Overall, the service is extremely poor, with dismissive and inattentive staff. It completely overshadowed the quality...

Stopped here late when I had just come off the road. It was one of the only restaurants close by that was still open. I was hesitant because the last time I visited Hip Hop (a different location) the food was AWFUL. But I wa starving so I gave it a shot. I'm happy I did... The girls working were very friendly and very helpful.. and the food was excellent. I even drove home, unpacked and put away all my things from traveling before sitting down to eat it and it was STILL hot & fresh. It was a good amount for the price too! Had to pull up and wait for a little bit, but that was no problem since the food was cooked to order, instead of sitting under a heat lamp! My picture is a little dim because I took it from my bedroom, but it's fried catfish and chicken wings. Will definitely be going back. If you love some good fried food, definitely check them out!

I heard about HipHop fish and chicken because they had good fish. I went in for the lunch special of 8.99. The lunch special menu has a lot of items to choose from. I picked 2 pieces of fish, fries, bread and a drink. The fries were good and the sweet tea was sweet but the main item was fish and it was over cooked and very thin. I was disappointed in the meal and the manager came up and extended me the courtesy of a different meal and I appreciate the offer. I'll try again one more time because of the service.
