This was our first experience with this restaurant. Stellar establishment, really, now I'm going to tell you why. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you are a valuable customer to the staff at Rodeo. You can see from my video, that the place was packed with people, yet still running efficiently. The server was prompt and attentive. As a matter of fact, I observed the staff supporting each other by doing things like expediting and running drinks. Even the busboy was working efficiently to pitch in. The food was super tasty and satisfying. The price was affordable. I ordered the Adobe Chicken, and My Bearded Best Buddy, Teddy, ordered the street tacos. Both pictured for you opinion on presentation of you so choose, but no matter, the taste spoke for itself. Kudos to you, Staff of the Rodeo, you guys rock, and I give you 5 stars across the board.

This is my 2nd trip! Came for the Texas Rice!!! It is soooooo good!!! A co-worker told me about this dish and the drinks last week, and she was so right about the dish! It's like a Mexican version of Chinese House Fried Rice if I had to describe it...lol! You get shrimp, chicken, and steak (which I don't like, so asked for extra shrimp & chicken) along with onions, bell peppers, squash, and tomatoes over a bed of rice. It also comes with a side of black beans and corn mix and 3 soft tortillas. SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! Now, as for drink specials, they need a little help in that department...lol! I usually get margaritas when I go to Mexican restaurants. Most have great specials, Rodeo only have a special on lime margaritas. I wish they had other flavors besides lime. I decided to try Liquid Marijuana. It was okay, but nothing to brag about.

I've been a bit disheartened going to various Mexican restaurants in Valdosta. This one was better than the others but, its still not great. However unlike the other restaurants , I will give this one another try. Ask for the spicier salsa. Its not spicy enough but, it is much better. Next time I will ask if they have a better one. If you like it hot you should ask. I'm Cuban, I want my mouth to burn with joy. Tuesday is Buy One Get One 1/2 off dinner. Thats a good date night offer.

I wish I could give the atmosphere a negative one star. They allow these drunk people to be loud and belligerent and over pour them. It was absolutely ridiculous on a Friday night at close to 9pm. Two big tables were being loud and belligerent , nobody should be allowed to act that in a family friendly restaurant. Nobody should be out in public discussing all this vulgarity talk loud as heck to where almost everyone in the vicinity can hear it, there’s some things that shouldn’t be talked about in a restaurant-disgusting. The food was mediocre also, the service was so so, and it smelt like dirty mop water had been cleaning the floor in there. It was horrible time and the owner really needs to go in and see what it’s really like on a Friday night. I will be telling everyone I know not to go there the food is mediocre, the service is not up to par- the waitress or someone should’ve stopped serving those big tables and should’ve told them that they were making other guests very uncomfortable. That shouldn’t have been allowed to go on at that restaurant, I will never be back to this establishment. These young adults now really act like they have no home training and act like they were never taught how to act in person and disciplined when they decided to act a fool. If they loud and belligerent they should have went to a bar, Club or went home and had what ever time they wanted to . A Mexican restaurant is not the place to act like...

When we arrived no one greeted us not even a hello and yes employees were walking by. Finally after about a 5 -6 minute wait someone finally came. Someone brought the chips and salsa which was really spicy ( in the future maybe the waitress should offer spicy and or mild b/c not everyone can eat spicy). The waitress acted a little impatient b/c I couldn't decide after looking at the menu she didn't even make a recommendation until I asked. My b/f can not eat anything spicy so when she brought his meal it was too spicy for him. He asked if he could get it without spices and after checking with the kitchen said no. He even asked her ( the waitress) what did they have that was not spicy and all she could do was say " I'm Mexican so to me everything has to be spicy" really!! So he had to have a cheese quesadilla b/c she couldn't recommend anything! So disappointed. Rodeo restaurant you lost this customer for now. From the service at the door to the waitress not a...

I don’t normally leave reviews for restaurants but I am this time. If I could leave zero stars I would. Not sure what is going on with this place but they need to take notice. We ate there late last Saturday afternoon before the evening rush and the food and service were both awful. Our bill was $60 (before tip) for 4 meals one which was a kids meal, two were quesadilla meals, no alcoholic beverages, one small basket of chips, tiny bowl of salsa and cheese dip, waitress was only at our table 3 times TOTAL!! To take the order, bring the food and then the bill. No refills, my order was completely wrong, she didn’t write it down and she didn’t get it right! I asked for no beans or guacamole and my plate was covered in both. I have also never had a meal at a Mexican restaurant that didn’t include rice. The wait for the food was approx 45 min after order. There are too many Mexican restaurants in Valdosta to give horrible service and serve less than perfect food. ...
