We go in to place a to go order, and there wasn’t anyone in line. After 15 minutes we start to see people who ordered after us get their food and my daughter asked the dude that worked there if our food was almost ready and he looked at her and walked away and completely ignored her. We wait a little longer to 20 mins before we decided to ask for a refund. No one acts like they are in any hurry to give us our CASH refund. After waiting longer than 5 mins for this refund with nobody in line. Manager if she was even a manager gets an attitude and says we haven’t been here for 30 mins. As it’s coming up on 30 mins with no food as well as no refund. This was our first time going and it will definitely be the last. The only friendly girl there was what I assume was a new girl. It was completely ridiculous to have waited almost 30 mins for our two simple meals and then receive attitude from a so called manager. My daughter works in food service and knows how long food should take as well as how to talk to paying customers in a professional manner and they were acting far from professional. This is by far the worst place I...
Read moreRead moreIn order to post this review, I was forced to add a star this place isn't deserving of the one star I was forced to select. My husband and I were excited about our fist time visit to Huey Magoo's; however, we ended up being extremely disappointed. We waited 40 minutes for BAD food. People who arrived and ordered after us, received their food before we did. When I asked about the status of our food, the front counter female worker responded rudely, and later when I was supposedly speaking with "the manager" I received a similar attitude ~ no smiles from these workers!!! They were defensive and unapologetic. When the food was finally delivered, we were met with small chicken tenders, boring cole slaw and stale room temperature french fries. The website says thick hand-cut pickles my sandwich had 4 small pickle butts (ends) not even edible. The manager said, "they just pull them out of the jar" she had no interest in what the website claims. We will never stop at a Huey Magoo Chicken restaurant again not a good experience. Our $26 meal was barely worth $0.26. The owner of this franchise...
24Nov24. My girlfriend and I went here to see if the place lived up to their name. My girlfriend is more of the order chicken tenders anywhere we go so I def consider her thoughts about it. We weren't that impressed with the chicken tenders. The breading is light but not sure if it's worthy of the signs that are displayed. She really did enjoy the M&M chocolate chip cookie. It was baked well, not crunchy but not mushy. The crinkle cut fries and kettle chips were ok, the seasoning on the fries was ok too. Reminded us a lot like zaxbys. Which we both agreed we liked more. The sauces we got was the house special, which reminded me a lot of other specials sauces I've had nothing different. She likes ranch the best and that was ok. Lastly is the honey mustard. Very similar to Wendy's but a little less honey. Overall is an ok place. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was chill. Not sure if we will ever come back. Lastly we got a meal that's for two people, aggregating thing was that we had to pay for drinks separately. Didn't know they aren't included...
