The food is decent (for what it is), but the service at this location (#13847) is TERRIBLE. I'm not going to give a negative review of a place for having one bad day either. Today is the third time I've visited this location and every time the wait has been exceptionally long. But, this visit was by far the worst (and the reason I won't be a patron at this location going forward). I arrived and there were two cars in front of me at the ordering screen. We waited about 7 (+/-) mins to pull up, and then when it was our turn to order after the automated message said to order the employee asked us to wait to order. I said, "No problem, take your time." Boy did they take that to heart. After about 10 mins, I asked my passenger to step out and see if anyone was in the line in front of us (maybe they forgot we were there). They said there was just one car in front of us at the window. I waited another minute and said, "Hello?". They replied, "Sorry for the wait, go ahead with your order." (Glad I said something). I asked for one regular chicken sandwich and one spicy. They told me it would be about a 6 min wait for the sandwiches since they just had a large sandwich order (I mean, it's Popeyes, I'm not surprised they have lots of chicken sandwich orders), and asked if it was okay. I said sure and continued with my order of one fry. They told me to pull up to the window. By the time I pulled up no one was in the line, it was empty. I paid for the order and they asked me to pull up past the building, make a left, and park in the road (facing on coming traffic) in front of the building and they would walk it out to me. Okay. My receipt time was 12:25pm. After about 12 mins (twice the time they told me the additional wait would be), I went inside for a refund. They said the sandwiches were done and asked if I wanted them (Yeah, I wanted them a half an hour ago when I pulled into the drive thru). I said, no thank you just the refund. The person who had taken my order, and payment, was apparently the manager on shift (was told their name was KT). They didn't acknowledge me, just spoke to the employee behind the counter who I had asked for the refund. I said, excuse me do you need my card, and the manager turned around obviously annoyed and said NO. I watched her finish at her register, a refund receipt printed, she left it there and handed the other employee my original receipt. Still not addressing me, asking why I wanted a refund, or making any effort to correct the issue. I then asked the employee (who was very polite) if I could please have my refund receipt. She said she had to get it from "her" (the manager), and after asking her for it (already printed and just sitting there by the drive thru register) had to wait for her to walk over and get it. The manager handed it to the employee, who then turned around to hand it the me. The refund receipt timestamp was 12:40pm, and I finally left there around 12:45pm. Take away from this visit, this location is not interested in customer service or profitability for it's owner. Management needs training in time management and customer service. Again, I didn't post a review the first two times that the wait was a "little extra", but this seems to just be a consistent issue at this location. Left this Popeyes at 12:45pm and drove to the location on Bemiss in 9 mins. Had my order in hand (after a brief wait too) and was driving away by 1:03pm.

Read moreJust like others I believe one star is too low of a rating. I had came in here like 15-20 mins 3/19/24 to do a simple order, nice day out I guess the lady was in a bad mood. She seemed like she had an attitude or something but I had already place my order online to avoid speaking to her because she seemed unwelcoming. So isn’t it the polite thing to do is wait to ask right I didn’t wanna grab the wrong order because I didn’t see the name on the bag I apologize for that and I also had headphones in so I had time to wait and politely do that. I’m watching the body language as she helped the guy in front of me spoke politely to him & put on a full presentation but when it was my turn she didn’t say anything & I knew not to say or do anything but ask for my order. That’s when she pointed to it after seeming like she didn’t care to even speak to me and said that she had made it already. I told her it wasn’t that deep. Earlier some time before like a month & a half ago I was coming out of a store and I just wondered why there was some laughing going on across the way and it seemed like it was coming from over at Popeyes, the energy just gave childish. There was only 3 of them busting their butts to keep up with the endless line and I just couldn’t believe the amount of work they were doing. They were doing 5-6 peoples work between the 3 of them 😞 I will come back here just because of the attitudes and helpfulness of the staff! You have a GREAT staff hold on to them!!!
Shout out to Roxanne (Roxy) that said manager on her name tag. She was amazing and so helpful. Sweetest lady I’ve come into contact with at a fast food restaurant! The guy taking orders was running around like he was in a mad house just to keep up. I couldn’t believe he was in the kitchen area throwing some tenders in the fryer while memorizing the order over the mic WHILE telling a fellow employee what needs to be put in from the previous order and the one he was taking.
