Service should be fired. Just now the girl inside shouted at me when I asked for my order status, after every person that walked in after me got their food before me and I had a small order scheduled for pick up. When I first walked in, they said three minutes on my order. After everyone else got their food and I’m still standing there the girl looked at me three times didn’t say a word. So when I walked up and asked if my order coming, she shouted at me “I didn’t know you had an order,” In front of another customer that was standing at the counter. Why else would I be standing inside a five guys waiting at the counter? I reported it to corporate. I have never encountered someone do this and she should be fired for behaving that way in front of two customers. The manager saw it happen and I’m pretty sure she’s the one who let my order get lost in the shuffle and forgotten so she didn’t even apologize to me for the girls behavior or admit she made a mistake. She didn’t say anything to the girl for shouting, just handed me the food. Please just replace them with robots. I’m never eating at 5 guys again after this. There are plenty of other burger places that I don’t have this horrible memory...
Read moreThe problem with Five Guys in general is that they are coasting on their name. I remember eating a Five Guys burger when I was a kid and having an almost religious experience. Now, I'm more than disappointed. I'm not sure if this location is just sub par somehow, but the burgers, the heart and soul of American fast food, are just ok. Now, usually, I wouldn't rate a place so low for having passable food, but I paid $14 for my burger today. No fries, no drink, just by bacon cheeseburger. The real killer for me is that there are better options that blow this Five Guys location out of the water right nearby. Across the street to the side is a Cookout, which is cheaper and arguably better. The real competition is Relish, though. While in the same general price point, Relish has bigger, juicier, and, weirdly enough, hotter burgers. (My Five Guys burger was warm, but the cheese didn't properly melt and the meat wasn't steaming hot like it had just come off a grill. A weird problem, but a problem nonetheless.) Basically, in Valdosta, there is no reason to come to Five Guys while Relish and Cookout exist and, personally, I...
Read moreOk. So I’m pretty sure it goes without saying that five guys burgers is a pretty delicious place to eat. However I have eaten at many five guys restaurants and it always seems to be hit or miss on quality. My family and I have been in Valdosta for a couple days and had several bad experiences at several restaurants and had almost given up. Across from the mall and our hotel was this five guys restaurant and I wasn’t thinking much about it when we had walked in. We were met with unbelievable customer service a very upbeat atmosphere and that does not even touch the quality of the food. This was The best burger and hotdog that I have had in a very long time I suggest this specific five guys restaurant to anybody who wants quality food and quality service at a...
