Best coffee shop in Valdosta! Red Owl is a relatively new coffee shop that provides high-quality coffee quickly and affordably.
Let's start with the coffee, Red Owl sources their own coffee from different locations around the globe to provide the best cup of coffee in the Valdosta. They are famous for their cold brew but also can make incredible espresso drinks to suit any one's preference. Additionally, I've heard that they are exploring more varieties/origins of coffee for the future which is super exciting.
Besides the coffee, the baristas here are the coolest crew of people you will ever meet. They are extremely personable and love making new friends from people who visit often. There have been several times I drive up and my drink is ready before I even make it to the window.
Last but not least, they have a cool deck area (fire pit included) where you can enjoy your cup of coffee outside with friends. I can't speak highly enough about this coffee shop and am excited to see how they grow...
Read moreI have been to Red Owl a few times, mostly because it’s close by. Their coffee drinks are too sweet for me. So, I’d started going to Dunkin instead so that I can build my drinks exactly how I want them. Yesterday I decided to try Red Owl again and ask for adjustments (less sugar) to the drinks. Admittedly, I assumed that a business calling itself a coffee shop and charging such steep prices would hand make their beverages and allow customization. The young man was kind and offered to make me a latte instead but I declined; the two drinks don’t seem all that similar to me. Instead I drove the three minutes to another nearby coffee shop and enjoyed a delicious beverage there since I was...
Read moreI am normally an Ellianos person, but Red Owl is convenient on the way to work. If I stop, I typically only get a Golden Owl Frappe, which is actually pretty good. Recently, I decided to get a regular breakfast in a cup, and it was fine the FIRST time. I ordered a few breakfast in a cup for me and my coworkers a few days later and was left very disappointed. The cups were less than half filled. Maybe a scoop of grits and the toppings. If they were out of product, they should have said so and given me my money back. Instead, they chose to allow me to go through with the purchase. I also asked for butter, and the lid was not on well, so it poured out in the bag. Maybe it was an off day because my frappe seemed more runny than normal. I know the place is quite busy in the morning, but you can't sacrifice quality...
