Do you like a LOT of attitude with your chicken order?! I recently stopped by this location because I didn't want to drive across town to Popeye's. I was the only customer at Church's at the time. I gave my order over the speaker; 2-piece combo with a wing and a thigh as well as a jalapeno pepper. I'm certain of my order because I always order the same thing regardless of the chicken joint. Although i was the only customer, I waited a full 5-minutes for my order. My mistake was not checking the order prior to leaving. I got home to discover that my thigh and wing had become a breast and a drumstick...and no jalapeno pepper. I drove back and informed them of the error. Immediately I was met with pronounced rudeness from the woman at the window. She demanded my receipt twice and twice I told her that I'd left it at home. It seemed like the fix should have been very simple; take the food back and give me what I asked for. No, this woman was insisting that I didn't specify which pieces I wanted (which was ridiculous given that I had repeated my order twice over the loud speaker) and she also insisted that I'd never asked for the jalapeno. What did this Ambassador of Congeniality to then? She told me that I had to pay for the single jalapeno pepper as though I hadn't just driven all the way back to get this order straght. This woman couldn't spell "Customer Service" if you spotted her all of the vowels! Goodbye, Church''s. This was a simple fix and you could hardly have handled it worse...and there are other...
Read more25 or more years ago, I tried Church's Chicken for the first time. I thought it was bland and greasy compared to Kentucky Fried Chicken. I never went back again. Sometime around 2015, I met a manager from Churches who assured me that the chicken served now was better and tastier than Kentucky Fried Chicken or Popeye's. Also, the honey biscuits were addictive. He was right! I've been enjoying Church's Chicken 2- 3 times a month...until the pandemic hit over a year and a half ago. Now that restrictions have been lifted, I wanted Church's tasty chicken for dinner. I ordered through the drive-thru and used a Church's coupon. To my dismay, the chicken looked overly brown, non juicy, and seemed as if it was refried cold chicken. The honey biscuit served is now a honey roll. It looked like a Hawaiian roll dipped in honey. It was not good because the bread became somewhat gooey from the hot honey butter. I was not impressed. I would like to go back there again... Please fix...
Read moreI wanted something to eat and do drive through since I had back surgery a week ago. There was one car ahead of me. I took more than 30 minutes to order. I ordered spicy stips meal. Not available. So I got 5 piece original with biscuit and drink. Maybe another 30 minutes to check out. I paid and asked if the biscuit was included. The cashier put a box by the window. Then proceed to take orders at the window inside, after she began filling orders. Seeing my order ready I honked my horn. The man inside looked at me and shrugged his shoulder in dismay. I honked again and she out her finger up. As if to say give her a minute. Maybe after about 20 minutes she handed me my order. I drove home, opened my box with no biscuit. Because of my surgery I didn't want to go back. I had my own bread. Inside the box was a big black nugget of maybe swing fried over and over Intel it's burnt. The ended of the chicken strip weren't edible. The whole thing was disgusting. I will never eat...
