Five Star Chicken — Restaurant in Vallejo

I have to say I am extremely disappointed. The photos, and the videos all look great! It actually smells great from across the street as well. So let me begin with this review… The chicken here was extremely floppy, thick, soggy, and had lots of weird colors and pieces/parts on it. The chicken was so incredibly oversized and floppy. It is not crispy chicken all. It was flopping around like crazy. I took a bite of the chicken and it tasted like straight up WATER. I felt fooled, It didn’t make sense because the photos and the videos of their food all look so good online. I didn’t understand how this could possibly be true. Up and coming restaurant has interesting choices and big generous portions. Prices are fair and comparable to other restaurants around Vallejo but I have to commend them for the creativity of ingredients used making the meals interesting and delicious. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings and a fruity pebbles milk shake and the misses had a kick'n chicken sandwich and a strawberry lemonade drink. Meals included fries but I liked the addition of Doritos and flaming hot cheetos to the meals, adds more flavor and crunch ad well as the different milk shakes they have to offer. I recently had the pleasure of trying out Five Star Chicken, and I have to say, they’ve quickly become my favorite spot! Their Mac n Chicken is absolutely delicious—perfectly tender chicken paired with fresh, hot mac & cheese that just hits the spot.

They also offer a variety of options, including chicken sandwiches and a classic hamburger on a plain bun, both of which look amazing. I tried the chicken tenders, and I recommend going for the non-spicy option and adding your own spice on the side for the perfect kick.
