Extremely disappointed about the service I got at Tonys Cake for my son’s birthday cake. I had a clear & very detailed quote submitted since 9/9 for 9/17 event. Over a week in advanced for a simple design and when I showed up yesterday to pick it up there was no cake (unreliable) I was told they never saw the deposit come in so they offered to have the cake ready in 2 hours even though I had guest showing up an hour. I said it was fine desperately since I had no other choice at that point, finally came back and had to sit and wait for it because they were trying to finish it off. The cake turned out a total disaster. I believe the cake was still too hot on the inside that the layers were falling off the cake and it was super lob sided, as in the cake was not even at all on the top and was almost falling off the plate. The frosting around the cake look horrible too. When I finally showed back home all the guest had been there for 2 hours already and had to walk in to an embarrassing looking cake, in comparison to everything I invested as far as the desserts and decorations the cake stood out the most as the ugliest thing on the table. The main reason about this comment was mainly the reaction of the owner after all this was their mistake. Did not seem apologetic or like he even cared about what was going on. The store still managed to charge me full price and never offered any kind of compensation or anything in exchange for their big mistake. Tony created an unforgettable moment in time for my entire family with the Loki Gator birthday cake that he custom made for my sister-in-law. Tony is professional with his beautiful website, clear communication, and makes you feel like family in his warm hospitality. This was the first cake I ever had made by Tony, and it exceeded my expectations. The cake tastes as good as it looks. Upon tasting my first bite I was immediately transported back in time to my childhood remembering the rich unique textures and flavors of a cake from long ago. The entire process of ordering the cake, submitting payment, and picking up the finished product went so smoothly. I simply sent Tony a picture of what I wanted, which was a random image my brother had text to me of a Loki Gator. Tony made fantasy a reality. Tony's Cakes has become our household standard. I will be returning for more "GLORIOUS" cakes as Loki would say!

*Anybody leaving negative reviews about Tony's Cakes probably didn't want to pay, failed to follow the clear instructions on the website contract, or is looking for someone to blame for their errors. Tony did everything his website and contract said he would do. When I arrived at the store all the staff made sure all of my needs were met while I was there, and Tony helped me figure out my Zelle payment, even more he helped us get the cake in the car all by himself. He really didn't have to do any of those things but he did. My only regret is that I should have thanked him more than I did in person, because I was distracted with getting the cake home safe. Dreams do come true at Tony's Cakes! If he did it for my family he can do it...

I recently had an experience with Tony's Cake that left me extremely disappointed. I placed an order for a birthday cake and cake pops, specifically requesting chocolate flavor for the cake pops, which I emphasized to the baker not once but twice. Despite my efforts to communicate my preference, my order arrived with the wrong flavor.

What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I reached out to the designer on the day of the event, but I have yet to receive any response. It was my child's birthday, and they have a strong affinity for chocolate cake pops. The disappointment in their face when we discovered the error was disheartening.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, especially in a busy bakery, I had taken extra precautions to ensure the correct flavor by communicating it twice. The lack of response to my follow-up message only adds to the frustration. I believe that responsive customer service is a vital aspect of any business, and it was sorely lacking in this case.

I hope Tony's Cake takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to prevent such errors in the future. As a customer, I value clear communication and accuracy in orders, especially for special occasions. I hope to see an improvement in both the product and customer service to maintain the trust and satisfaction of customers...
