This evening, my service animal and I went to this restaurant for dinner. I usually always sit in the bar area or any area in a restaurant that is not busy knowing that some people do not like my service animal present during dinner. I was the only person in the bar area. I sat down at bar and my dog laid beside me as he always does.
As I always do, I had asked for a little bowl or Styrofoam container of water for him as he had just walked a couple of miles. I was given a Styrofoam cup and immediately mentioned that he would knock this over trying to get all of the water out of it. Well, he did and there was a small puddle of water on the floor. I moved my seat over the puddle and repositioned my animal on the other side. The manager and several servers made me feel very uncomfortable seeing that they just did not like the animal being in their restaurant.
The manager refused to give my service animal water in a bowl and said he would need to drink outside with my own container. Then, was approached about the puddle under my seat and that customers could slip. I reminded him that his employee provided the cup and that I mentioned my animal may knock it over trying to get all of the water. At this point, it was clear we were being asked to leave.
So, all in all. I was forced to leave due to the pressure of an uncomfortable atmosphere driven by the staff at this restaurant. Not only that, I speak Spanish and heard countless inappropriate comments from staff regarding the animal.
My service animal is professionally trained as I am a victim of ptsd and my service prior has caused this. I am only writing this review due to the unprofessional rhetoric and discrimination towards myself and my service animal. I travel for a living and not local to this town. Completely opposite treatment I typically get in restaurants with my service animal.
I was smart mouthed on the way out and have never been so disrespected and embarrassed in public. Several other guests couldn't believe what transpired and said they wouldn't be back.
1star for nothing....
Read moreHorrible!! Terrible!! Nasty!! They gave me the wrong plate, after I complained they told me that was what I orded, so I didn't wanted any confrontations, I proceded to take a bite (at this point I just wanna leave) the server comes back and say "wrong plate, wrong plate" and rip it off my hands mid bite he also takes my partners plate stacks them all on top of each other and leave it took him like 10 seconds, we are trying to figure out what just happened, they brought the food back, the plate i ordered and my partners plate was back too, ( yes after he stacked everything else on top, they brought the plate back to him) I got up and ask the lady up front if I could talk to "somebody" so a gentleman that was walking by stopped and asked what happened. I explained to him and his solution was to bring us "new plates" NO!! YOU ALREADY BROUGHT BACK A PLATE THAT WAS SET TO BE DISCARDED! ONLY GOD KNOWS IF YOU TOOK MY PLATE FROM SOME ONE ELSE TABLE AND BROUGHT IT TO ME!! after 10 minutes of arguing I told him I was gonna pay for the queso and drink and leave or I could just leave, HIS CHOICE! SAD! THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME 10 YEARS AGO WHEN I USED TO LIVE IN THE VALLEY! I just took a 2 hr trip for them 1,000% NOT...
Read moreRather disappointing. Server was nice BUT Top Shelf drinks are very expensive. My 'medium' Margarita was $15.00. A 'House' Margarita is $7.50. Plus a lot of ice. The only difference is the Tequila used. So $7.50 for maybe 1 and a half shots. My husband's order was incorrect from start to finish. He ordered iced tea, and received ice water. Then he ordered 3 steak tacos with corn tortillas with only lettuce. He received 3 hamburger tortillas with cheese and flour tortillas. They corrected it but by then I was nearly finished with my not so great plate. I ordered Camaronies a la diabla. I received shrimp covered strictly with bottled ketchup. Sweet. I do not like ketchup to begin with, and didn't finish the shrimp. In no way was it 'a la DIABLA' as ordered. And our visit was around 1:30 and only a handful of other tables with patrons. Not busy at all. I can't imagine how they would mess up if they were busy. Not worth the $40.16 plus tip. We will not be going...
