Lanett Inn — Hotel in Lanett

Right behind the office where the pool is, part of the building is falling apart on the outside. The pool itself looks like it hasn't been used and a couple years. It does come with a microwave and a mini fridge and has an old-school tube television. The Wi-Fi is pretty shoddy depending on where you're at in the complex. It also has a small laundry room with two washers and two dryers . The cable works when it wants to it seems like somebody's always working on it the staff around here is pretty nice. Just needs a little updating is all.

Update: after being here for a week i had 2 days where the wifi worked flawlessly. After that only my cell would connect laptop couldn't connect then it started to auto disconnect every 15min. Rubbish Also my room was between central and eastern timezone. So my clock was always switching timezones. I can walk 5 rooms down and it stays eastern time...

We stayed here about 15 months ago, and it was reasonable. The place was being renovated, and there were workmen all over the place. The only nonsmoking room that was available was handicapped, and it was lovely. We had a larger than normal bathroom, and the room was freshly painted and decorated, plus on the ground floor. However, there was no wifi signal, not in the room or in the lobby. The breakfast was really bad, much lower than normal Days Inn's standards. The desk guy was gone when we came out in the morning to get more milk, and so there was milkless cereal and cellophane wrapped buns. Fortunately, we had a good supply of other food so we didn't need the breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and...

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! We checked in and walked into a room with a horrible smell of smoke and bugs crawling on the ceiling. There was mold on the ceiling and in the tub along with a giant rust ring. We were in the room less than 5 minutes and we left to go check out and find another place. I told the girl at the front desk that the room was nasty and smelled and had bugs and she said ok. I said im checking out to go find somewhere else to stay. I called to get a refund and everytime I call im told manager not in. If traveling to Auburn for football avoid this hotel at all cost. Im still fighting to get my money back. I messed up not taking pictures because we were in hurry to get out but I had friend who can verify it is...
