Wednesday I ordered Togo arrived at my pickup time attendant came out to my order and I paid . I waited about 20 minutes after my pickup time and my food was cold when I got it told the attendant and had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake it was hot and was comped the skillet cake. Not a great experience but understandable during a rush. Today my friend and I came into the store to eat for the first time wore our masks into the store . We were seated promptly and the server got our drinks within probably 5 minutes of sitting down . My friend and I shared a menu as there was only one , ordered I the 3 for 10 with Cajun shrimp pasta and Caesar salad him a burger. I received my salad within 10 minutes and then about 20 minutes later our waiter said our food was just about ready then we waited 50 minutes without any service whatsoever finally our food was brought out by the manager with no addressing of sorry for the wait or what had happened upon noticing me from Our previous encounter and me saying it was another hour to get our food , she says yes our fryer went down so the fries my friend ordered couldn’t be cooked so our order went cold waiting on our fries . Instead of bringing out our food and then bringing the inconsiquental fries later my friend and I had a sorry experience and waited an hour plus for it . Manager whispered after this confrontation that the meals were paid for ( honestly barely heard here say it and my friend sitting a foot away did not )servers stared at me and my friend gawking with their friends as me and my friend tried to eat. I can say she tried to fix the situation but not sure it should have ever occurred in the first place Also is just sad you have to wait an hour plus to get food at this restaurant anymore ( or maybe unfortunately that is just my case ) or the lack of straightforwardness towards these unfortunate situation overall. I have been a usual customer here and will be avoiding future endeavors to this particular chili’s to avoid the consistent headaches I have received almost habitually upon my trips to this once...
Read moreI literally never post a bad review, but our experience here was horrible. Mine and my husbands experience has been spotty in the past (sometimes we get excellent service and food and other times it has not been pleasant), but we decided to give it another try as the last time we ate there we had an amazing experience. From the moment we sat down we knew it wouldn’t be great. The table was extremely sticky and gross despite looking like it had been freshly cleaned. Our waitress, Brandi, was very rude. She was not attentive at all and left the table before we could even finish our orders even though it wasn’t terribly busy. What was the worst however, was when we got our entrees. I ordered the mango-chili chicken and got broccoli as the side. It was not done and tasted bad, so when she came back I politely asked if I could have another side. She said “yes” and immediately walked away. We ordered the two for $25 and had been there about 40 minutes and hadn’t ordered our dessert that comes with the meal yet either. She immediately went to another table so my husband called her back and explained that I hadn’t even ordered another side to substitute it with, that she just walked away. She immediately got an attitude (which she had pretty much the whole time we were there, only more snarky this time) and finally let me order another side and our dessert to go. I was very upset by the experience as we were polite the whole time up until we were treated poorly, in which my husband replied with frustration but nothing rude or unpleasant. We probably will never be back to this restaurant, we have plenty of others that are consistent in service and food quality. We went to Taco Bell afterwards and had...
Read moreWe always look forward to eating at Chili's, after tonight's visit I'm afraid that may change.
Granted, it's New Year Day. The restaurant wasn't overly busy and there was waitresses walking around. We were seated and waited 10 minutes before having to walk to the hostess station to ask about our waitress. During the now 13 minute wait, we noticed a waitress whom had walked by our table 4 different times acknowledging we were there and looking at menus. Turns out, that same waitress was to be the one waiting on us.
She took our drink order, appetizer and dinner order. 6 minutes goes by and our drinks and appetizer arrives, which was chips and salsa...not something that takes a long time to prepare.
We were about halfway through our meal and our waitress hadn't checked to see if everything was fine, when she did she acted as if she was in a rush standing behind my daughter peaking around her shoulder. I had to quickly ask for a refill for my wife before she had a chance to run off again.
This was by far the worst experience we have ever had at the Van Buren location. I can honestly say, we probably won't be coming back to this location again, which is sad considering it was one of our favorite restaurants in Van Buren.
All I have to say is y'all need to have a talk with your staff. If I wanted to pay almost $75 for a dinner where I almost had to get my own stuff I would have stayed home and cooked our dinner instead...
