This is a cute breakfast and lunch place in a building across from a new condo complex on 192nd Ave. They have a couple bench seats and most tables have the same, hard, uncomfortable, metal chairs so many spots are using. We were seated immediately at the bench seat. It sinks...a lot. We joked it was like being at the kids table. That said, they were definately more comfortable than those metal, toy chairs. There are fake cacti and fern like plants, large planks of sound dampening material hanging from the ceiling and one twisty plant near entry that has a taped sign stating it is real...please don't touch. We ordered huevos rancheros and taquillas. The rancheros were ordered with fake egg, as I am lucky to have developed a late life allergy. I am also celiac, and that makes breakfast difficult. There are at least two gluten free options here though. The meals were brought out within five minutes. However, mine clearly had real, sunnyside up eggs. I politely stated the eggs looked real. The waitress said there was vegan sausage on the plate. My entree doesn't come with sausage. I reiterated I will return my meal promptly, all over the table, if I eat egg. Fake egg is needed. She took my meal back and someone else, I presume, the manager...came out and appologized...repeating they will bring it out again. They did bring one out with the fake, scrambled shortly and I was happy they tasted good. Black beans were piled on the tostada under it. Grilled potato pieces were on the bottom layer. The other dish appeared to be enchilada sauce, covered nacho chips with black beans, eggs and pulled chicken. Both dishes came out mild but hot sauce is provided at the table. I used a bit of that and it was good. I don't know of anywhere else around I can get fake eggs so this place is a def return for me. The drip coffee is also the best I have found anywhere. The oj was unfortunately off-brand concentrate. Overall, a deserved place to return. Great place if you want vegan eggs and sausage.

I spent a week, living at the hotel across the street from Otra Vez. Only once, on a Saturday did I venture into this establishment for breakfast. I spent a mildly annoying amount of time waiting to be seated, as the servers walked past me. The restaurant is almost full. Except for a couple of tables. But it's not a huge restaurant. Maybe 20 tables. There are breakfast style cocktails served here. (bloody Mary's, mimosas, Mexican coffee) and a selection of beers. But I did not order any. I just wanted breakfast. The black drip coffee is good quality. I have a tendency to pre judge a restaurant based on the coffee they serve. Folgers or Farmer brothers coffee usually means mediocre food. The menu is small. This is a breakfast only restaurant. I ordered the rancheros with chorizo and a side of hot salsa. From the second the food arrived, I immediately wished I had ordered a breakfast cocktail. The smell of the food and the appearance of it immediately put me in a "let's get this party started", mood. A base of grilled potatoes with a fresh tostada shell sitting above. Topped with beans, chorizo, eggs, Pico de gallo and sliced avocado. Although I must admit, I hardly noticed the beans and there was also supposed to be Chipotle on this dish. If it was there, it was very mild. Doesn't matter, it tasted excellent! There was a selection of hot sauces on the table, but I didn't use any of them. I only used the additional salsa that I ordered. This was probably the best huevo's rancheros that I've ever eaten. The meal set me back $22.84, not including tip. I'll definitely stop by here again to sample the rest of their menu. I guess my only complaint is that the chairs at the tables are not big back friendly. Luckily, my food did not take long to arrive or else. I would have become uncomfortable sitting in that chair.

I came here for brunch on a Daddy-Daughter date with my Toddler last month. I got the breakfast torta and she got the crunchy french toast. The torta was incredible, probably one of the best tortas I've ever had. The chorizo was tasty, the bread was nicely toasted, and the breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy. My daughter liked the crunchy french toast (I thought it was just okay), but it also came with a nice array of berries. I would give it 5 stars but... 1) The hard metal seating was really uncomfortable and a clear message that they don't want diners to stay too long lol (They do have a few booths available too.) 2) All of the high chair seatbelts were tied in knots, so it was really difficult to have my daughter sit in it (She is wiggly and likes to climb). I told the server and they just shrugged and said "All of them are tied in knots." and we just had to deal with it. 3) Parking is limited, but that's not really their fault. 4) The entrance and layout of the restaurant feels awkward. All that to day, the food was great and it is enough of a reason to return again in the future.

If you have not tried this place you should! Im all for an amazing breakfast burrito but this is elevated simple good food. This is not like traditional american Mexican food restaurants, it has its own twist, I would say its more elevated in the best way... they have a small but very good menu! It gets busy on the weekends but its worth the wait and stay patient and kind and usually the wait isnt too long. They work very hard when its busy... Food to table even when its busy isnt long. The rancheros breakfast and add the chorizo trusy me, is so amazing and the eggs benedict comes with chorizo and avacado, there is two types of eggs Benedicts, your basic and then the other one with chorizo and avacado that I will be going back for regularly and alternate between the rancheros breakfast, so They serve breakfast/brunch, they have amazing French toaste oh my and several other items I have not mentioned that I cant wait to try. I wanted to take the time to give them a shout out. The atmosphere is great nice, employees are amazing and open, good coffee good fresh OJ... my husband and I finally went last weekend and they have been around for a while, why I didn't do it sooner I cant figure out, I went back today by myself, I couldn't wait to have it again! Prices are amazing also, so all around win really. You wont be disappointed. Great place to have your weekend breakfast with your loved one or family or friends or all the above. It's quieter on weekdays but weekends its typical hearing everyone talk, but not overly loud. The openness and brightness really adds to the...
