When I walked in, I expected there to be a case displaying their desserts. Instead, I couldn’t see any bakery goods laid out. There was only the counter and they had a few plastic wrapped small items. They had a menu with what they had available, but they didn’t have them on display, so you couldn’t see how big they were. I ended up ordering a chocolate chip with oatmeal scone and a Banana Split (?) donut. The scone was a good size, but the donut was really small. Not much bigger than the size of a golf ball. I was really surprised it came out to $7.55 total for both of them. I’m not sure how much the donut was, but as I mentioned, it was really small! Not worth whatever price they charged! The service was friendly enough, though. I had High hopes after reading reviews about the desserts. However, I’m not sure if they had to downsize, but they do not bother to display their desserts nor the prices! (I went to the location off 192nd). For those reasons alone, I will not be...
Read moreThe service at Di Tazza is excellent. The staff are cheery and helpful, and drinks are made quickly. The coffee is good, and there is also a wide selection of freshly-made pastries, which are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable for all items. The only real downside is that the shop tries to offer both drive-through and dine-in, but the location limits the shop from being very successful with the latter. The building isn't large enough for indoor seating so there are only a few small tables outside on the strip mall sidewalk patio, with no separate dedicated seating area. The ownership plans to open a new larger location soon, and I am looking forward to this as it promises an opportunity to enjoy Di Tazza's amazing pastries and coffee in a classic coffee shop atmosphere. For the time being, I would recommend this location for drive through...
Read moreInside is teeny tiny. I wouldn’t even bother going in, I’d stick to the drive through. I was hoping to get a visual of all the pastries they offer but it’s behind the counter and you can’t see anything. And the size is so small it feels awkward like you shouldn’t even be in there at all. Coffee is great! My partner enjoyed their sandwiches and I have mostly enjoyed the pastries. My most recent orange blackberry bun was raw and doughy and I could not eat it. But in the past it has been yummy. Unfortunately due to the inconsistency, I don’t see myself ordering it again. Ideally, I’d like to know my order total at the drive through speaker when I place my order, but they never tell you until you get to the window. That would be an easy way to improve service. But over all, I enjoy Di Tazza as my neighborhood coffee shop. I come at least...
