Missy reached out to me and apologized to us for the lack of beans and she definitely made up for it this weekend. She made the wrong right 🙏🏻. Her staff was very apologetic and thankful that we came back. I am very pleased and happy and will once again be patronizing Fishers Landing for our beans 🫘, although with Missy generosity we won’t be needing beans for a few weeks, or maybe we will just need to drink more at 🏡.

With the help of Missy( manager) at fishers landing ( close to where we live and we do walk to this location) she turned us onto the Espresso Whole Bean Coffee Beans for our coffee station at home two years ago. We have been faithful buying our beans and 1pound every 10 days from Brewed Awakenings, but now have moved to buying them from the Orchards location instead of fishers landing location since they ( orchards) have never told me they don’t have any to sell. The issue started about year ago so I will call and ask if they have any available since I live 2 minutes from FL, but very blessed and thankful our office is in orchards so I can pick up beans quickly. I have been told multiple times FL can’t sell beans 🫘. I understand that this bean is used for most of the coffee drinks made for all customers. So I do get it. Beans are not inexpensive and we are all for supporting small local business as we are small business as well. This used to be my favorite local coffee place. There have been several problems recently.

Their gift card redemption system has changed several times over the past few years and previous rewards were lost. Friends gifted me their gift cards, and that value has been lost. The staff was kind enough to comp us our (one) drink when we found out. Which leads to the next problem.

My partner enjoys their coffee, but I don’t like coffee, so I’d get a milkshake on our weekly “coffee dates.” This location hasn’t had milkshakes or smoothies for several months now. When chatting with the staff, they say the machine hasn’t been ordered and they “feel our pain.” I’m consistently let down when I think I’m going to get my favorite drink and then cannot. They suggested going to other locations because they all have milkshakes still, but when the nearest location is almost 20 minutes away from this one, I really don’t think it’s worth it.

If I’m desperate and in the area, I may try my luck at getting a shake at another location. But it looks like Brewed Awakenings is going downhill and I’m done trying to be...

Brewed Awakenings has recently turned into a frequent coffee shop that I will willingly take the time and effort to venture to when I can. It is a modest little shop, equipped with driven baristas who overall, try their very best.

I was introduced to a new drink from a close friend, which by the way is only served at brewed awakenings, and I will personally admit, that it is unfortunately a complicated drink when ordered. Sometimes, I am reluctant and slightly embarrassed to place the order, because if I were in the baristas shoes, I would become mildly irritated aswell.

Even though it is a pain inducing order, the drink always comes out, I kid you not, amazing. These wonderful women deserve a four star rating for all their hard work, and tireless efforts for the benefit of their customers. I want to sincerely commend them for their consideration to my personal needs, and I hope they continue to try their best.
