After a long day of shopping we saw killer burger outside Walmart and decided that this would be a good spot to try.... I ordered the peanut butter bacon and pickle burger, however it turned out to be a large scoop of peanut butter on it and the burger was raw on one side.... I told them it was my first time so impress me.... The fries were not cooked well, we got a sharable one. The sauces are much smasher than I would think and 50c each. The restaurant was incredibly cold so it was not a comfortable dining experience either unfortunately. The bathroom was incredibly warm and cozy and I jokingly told the girl in the lobby we should have ate in there, that it was so much warmer! She agreed that the restaurant is always very cold and that bathroom is always nice and warm. Thank goodness I had good company, so we did stay and chat for a bit but not for the shoeless.... Overall it was not the hype I was expecting. It's like a knock off Five Guys. I was up all night from the amount of calories I consumed and I didn't even finish my food. One of the young men in the lobby was very pleasant and and so was the girl who took the order. They were young and...
Read moreOver-hyped burger place. The burger was extremely salty and completely threw off the taste of the patty which was otherwise great in itself, but the total, overall burger that was lathered in excessive sauces and mayo and salty stuff (which by the way bacon was already salty) turned the overall burger into a salt block with grease. The mayo or sauce was excessively applied which made for a pretty messy salty drenched meat patty on cream. The budger was effectively killed. That's why it's called killer burger: the good burger was killed by the chef and it became a giant flop of utter waste. Completely understand the possibilities of inconsistency.... but the chances of returning is at a 2/10 at the most. Yep. Another great (or possibly great) restaurant killed by inattention to details or even just burger fundamentals.
Remember: it's about the meat, patty, and taste. Just throwing a lot of stuff on and in between the buns does NOT make a burger great. Toppings are complimentary. Not to be the killer. You killed it. Not in the good way.
Let's try Make Burger...
Read moreI have been to KB several times over the years in different areas, have enjoyed the burgers, but its been a few years. The burgers are not the same burgers they used to be. They were awful. Everyone in our party disliked their burgers and didnt finish them and we were all starving. The fries were excellent however. Burgers terrible. They have were drowned in the KB special sauce and thats all you tasted. No chargrilled flavor in the burger, just bland. The buns were dry and just fell apart. Another disappointing aspect of the visit was the shrieking and loud tallking and laughing of the employees catching up with their buddies visiting them at the front counter and the table behind us. They didnt care that they were right by customers and that anyone could hear what they were talking about...restaurant goings on and employee gossip. We chalked it up to a loss, threw the rest of our burgers away...but we did finish the fries!!! Went out for dessert instead. Those burgers put us right off. If I ever go back, it will only be only for an order of...
