Read moreBurgers start at 10.50, there are very reasonable daily specials on drinks and food. No complaints with kitchen: food was basic, (frozen crinkle fries, eh buns) but the cook was dressed professionally, the kitchen appeared spotless, the fries were burn-your-mouth hot and clearly made with fresh oil, our burger and patty melt respectively were perfectly sauced and well made. One can only imagine what the cook could do with a menu that had more sauces than 1000 Island and mayonnaise. The service set this place apart. If you aren't a local hooked on pulltabs give this place a miss! Shanahan's is right around the corner, with a nice happy hour menu and a bartender who, although legit swamped, was on top of us. Friendly. Professional. Contrast with poor A. at Tip Top who had perhaps a dozen patrons and couldn't seem to cope. Two rounds and a food order was four interactions with our server, and each was worse than the last. It's a real night killer. My husband is from the 'Couve. We're here off and on, mostly holidays. Tip Top is closest to where we usually stay but tonight was our...
Read moreHave been here before with no problems. Walked in and waited at the counter. Bar tender, female / dark straight hair / petite, ignored me at the bar counter. She then asked for my ID, which is no problem. I pulled it out to provide. She looked at my drivers license. Which is a completely valid ID, showing I am over the age of 21 and not expired. She then decided after looking at it for a few minutes that she âcould not accept itâ. I have NEVER had anyone deny my ID in any state. I have also been in this bar many times with no issues. The lady working was quite rude. Was really just going in to get a burger ( which I have done tons before / my bf works at the shop next store ) will not ever return. Also will no longer refer any clients to this establishment. Your bartenders need training on attitude. Next store is hungry Sasquatch where you can get good food and service! Brick house down the road also has a great atmosphere, fantastic food, and FRIENDLY STAFF. They also accept driverâs...
