I purchased 3 tickets in advance for a Sunday matinee. It was a play I had never heard of but my friends and I were intrigued by the description and haven’t been here before so we were excited. The theater is very nice and clean, well maintained. During the introduction, the director said, “Thank you for coming to this reading.” We did not pay for a reading, we came to see a play. The entire nearly 3 hour production was actors with scripts in hand & it was so distracting. We almost left during intermission but we had hopes it would get better, it never did. I was late getting tickets and ended up in the back row but was pleased it was what I would call stadium seating where the rows go higher the further away you get. Back to the play itself... To hear it is volunteered based was a surprise. It seemed very professional. The actor and actress were a doctor and an employee of Fred Meyers, both older and I assume living their dreams. This was the entire cast and not only did they keep the audience engaged, they made us all laugh, cry, and most importantly, think. I will definitely see another show....
