Super Subby's — Restaurant in Vandalia

So my mother & sister n my nephews and I wanted to eat subbys for mother's day a young heavy set lady with glasses (I asked her name they wouldn't tell me) approached my mother and sister and nephews who were sitting there waiting on me and my nephews to arrive we brought them a couple balloons and stuff for mother's Day because that's where we were meeting and the heavyset lady with glasses comes up and was very rude to my mother and my sister after scaring them down for a while and tell them that they can't bring pizza over there and eat which we had no intentions on eating any pizza they were waiting on us so we could order and the whole entire time they all went in back n just kept staring us down n talking so we finally placed our order and with another lady who is polite but the same heavy s t lady comes from the back and begins to tell the lady who helped us order that she did the order wrong and it's trying to charge us more than what we originally paid so I said what was the issue now because I feel like she just was picking at us was very very rude it was a mess the way we...

Super Subby's has been our favorite sub and chili restaurant for over 30 years. Not sure what has happened since the pandemic, but not the same. At least not at Subby's in Vandalia. I ordered a cheese steak sub, last weekend when we were there and when they brought it out it was almost like rare roast beef. I told the gentleman that I had ordered a cheese steak sub, and he said that is one, I said then what are you doing different with the steak because I've ordered this sub for 30 years. He went and got someone else who said they are using a different supplier. So I asked if I could get another kind of sub, I do not like rare meat or roast beef for that matter. She finally returned to say she was sorry, her manager said they could not make me another sub, but would refund my money😕. Honestly, the chili was gross too. All juice, hardly any meat and beans. I’ve had super subbys from every location in the surrounding areas and never any issues . However for some reason this location the heavier set women with glasses always disappoints she’s rude and you’ll realize her bad energy from the moment you step through the door . The first couple occasions I just brushed it aside assuming she was having a bad day but she consistently makes me regret my choice of choosing this location . I won’t be coming back after today she was rude as usual I ordered 2 subs a small Italian and a medium supper . Once I got to the car I realized there were 2 small subs in the bag . I walked inside to refund the small super for the medium I ordered . She proceeded to tell me that they got a new bread distributor and that’s the reason for me receiving a small when I ordered a medium that it would have more meat on it and it did not .
