Joined after meeting up with friends and sharing wine and 2 different pizzas on the patio. I've been back 3 times in the last 2 weeks since becoming a member. I ordered a pizza a week ago at lunchtime which was reheated, dried out salami, and a crust hard enough to break your teeth. Tonight I requested a pizza but only if made fresh. Since the "chef" was there, she assured me it would be fresh. The veg pizza wasn't recommended because they were out of tomatoes and several fresh ingredients so I ordered the same meat pizza as last week. The "chef" brought it out and assured me he made it fresh but the crust was like a rock, burned (black!) and... it had tomatoes! If they didn't have tomatoes then this was a pre-made pizza even worse than last week. The wine isn't good enough to drop $50 for 2 glasses and reheated pizza, so this was it for me. There are plenty of tasting rooms and wineries. Don't settle for Deep Sea with no Sea view, no table service, and you even have to go to them to cash out. This could've been great but turned out to be very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat addition to the Ventura harbor. Good wine, both flights are tasty, and nice seating inside and outside for a view and people watching. The inside can get a bit loud during peak hours though. They were trialing some pizza when we visited which was decent. They also have a cheese board that looked great and we will try next time. Also there were some chocolate options to enjoy as well. Overall a solid experience and addition to Ventura.
Our only issue with the place is that we are locals and the local winery club membership just felt lacking⦠it provided a minor discount on one bottle of wine a month. A more frequent tasting discount option would get us to visit more with friends. As it stands now, itās just a solid place to visit occasionally or for a date night. A bit building on the membership program would make it...

Wine itself is nothing to write home about, and the pours for the flights were very uneven. If a pour emptied the bottle, but was half of a standard amount, the bartender did not bother to open a new bottle to ensure the pour was to standard. Basically, cheating customers out of wine. The guy working the counter seemed to only be concerned with customers sitting directly at the bar, offering free samples and carrying on conversations as if everyone else sitting on the patio or the main area were just there. Overall, a "meh" experience, but on the positive side we were able to hit up other wineries afterwards and ended up having an...
